Villa 1900

Centrally located, less than 5 min walk to ‘downtown’ Santa Margherita. Personalised service from very helpful staff. Simple “self help” breakfast. The rooms are spacious although somewhat spartan, or put another way, are functional without being luxurious. The location is great, being a very short walk to shops, bars, restaurants, the waterfront and the wider region. Has off street parking. Very good value for money

Had the most wonderful stay at the Villa1900. The rooms are spacious and modern. Dante at the reception is amazing and always ready to give you advice or get a reservation at the restaurant. Only can recommend this Hotel and will be back there soon . Thank you to all the staff for making me feel good .

Villa 1900 is located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the center of town and waterfront. As someone who uses a wheelchair, I found the room and bathroom to be very accessible, and the staff (Paola, Dante) could not have been more friendly and helpful. There is also a very good breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. Will go back for sure!

We had driven from the UK to Italy and wanted a safe place to park a large SUV. This is why we booked this hotel but we were so pleased with all the other features too. Parking is in a gated lot just opposite our room (#906). The rooms are large for Euro standards. They were clean and felt new. We had a little patio with table and chairs. The windows had shutters and thick curtains to keep the early morning light out. The air con worked well in the 32 degree heat. The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Santa Margherita / Portifino. We took the ferry to Portifina one day. The ferry dock is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We also walked to the lido / beach clubs which was only 15 minutes walk along the coast. Loads of restaurants and bars are just around the corner from the Villa. It is tucked enough away from the crowds, so we did not hear any road noise at night. The staff were very helpful, as we needed a documented printed for work and the gentleman brought it to our room immediately. The woman doing the breakfast put out fresh meats for us. We would stay again.

We had three wonderful nights at this property which has been renovated to a very high standard. On arrival we had a very personal welcome and instantly shown to our room. The lady explained that the property has underfloor air con which they felt was not adequate in the extreme heatwave so had placed an electric fan in room prior to arrival so the room was comfortable. We booked a junior suite which was perfect and a large walk in shower. Room was cleaned to an exceptional standard and I am very fussy. Breakfast was self service but all produce was good quality. Both reception hosts were extremely helpful and took the time to ask how your day had been, very informative. There is very safe parking which is free at the front of the villa. We would stay again if we are in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Staying in Mario's villa is a real treat. We were a big group and Mario, Paula, Flora & Carmen were amazing. They were extremely hospitable and knowledgable and made us feel at home. They assisted with big items such as day trips, reservations for 19 (!!!) people and down to the little ones like where we could have our laundry done. The villa is optimally located in downtown Santa Margherita - a beautiful town just at the border of Portofino. We loved the area, we fell in love with the villa. We occupied almost all the rooms and were extremely happy with the attention to details , extremely clear at each of the rooms. This is the ideal location for large families, some privacy thanks to the separate rooms , as well as common areas in the yard and some of the larger units. Breakfast was awesome, the rooms were meticulously cleaned, the proximity to downtown was fun and useful . All in all - the perfect vacation, we did not want to leave.
