Hotel Santa Fe

The hotel shuttle was excellent. Our hats off to our driver Rick! Would not have wanted to walk to the plaza area due to it seemed a little sketchy. So The shuttle took us everywhere and picked us up. The hotel itself had authentic native decor which was nice but it felt old and stale. Service from all the staff was excellent!

The hotel seemed very nice initially. I noticed bites on my elbows after my first night staying there. They got worse on the second day but I was at a Forest Health meeting and was out in the field so attributed the bites to typical bugs. The third night I was uncomfortable and up all night. In the morning I saw a bedbug crawling across my sheets and took a picture . Then the bites got terrible. I explained the situation to front desk and they were completely unfazed. Even suggesting it was not bedbugs. Later ran in to housekeeping in my room who also suggested not bedbugs until I showed my pics and symptoms. Five others at my conference of 48 also had bites. In the end, the hotel comped me one night. Super lame in my opinion. I will never go back!

Jonah and Jesus were “Johnny on the spot” ready to help us with our car. Our luggage. Any needs. Delightful hotel. A step back in time. Nostalgic. Relaxing on the porch. Wine tasting in the garden. Cocktails in the bar. Charming. Walking distance to Plaza.

The staff are pleasant but detached and disinterested. When checking in I asked about their recent infestation of bed bugs and asked if all rooms had been fumigated and all affected rooms had had a change of mattress to ensure the situation had been effectively treated. The staff were unable to confirm if this was the case although they thought it had been treated. No water or tea/ coffee facilities are provided in the room. This is not explained and the system of having an open coffee bar in reception is nice, however was not explained and only by change discovered. The evening staff are equally disinterested and dismissive, especially when the hotel keys do no effectively work to open the door and several guests used their keys to try to open the door - the staff were arrogant and wanted to show us how we were all wrong - which was not the case - rather then simply apologise and move on. This created a very difficult and uncomfortable atmosphere when the door system simply did not work! There are pros and cons but with so many other options this is simply not worth it and does not provide the service advertised

This is a very nice hotel but we expected a bit more for the price. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was delicious and the beds were incredibly comfortable, rooms were clean. All that being said, the hotel lobby and outside are lovely, completely southwestern in design but the rooms are "tired". Furnishings are only so-so, worn in appearance and not like it was intended. There was no coffee maker in the room, only coffee at each elevator lobby. No in room safe or bottles of water. The location seemed a bit on the outskirts of down town, we never tried to walk anywhere from the hotel. They do provide a shuttle that goes within a mile of the hotel. Stay was adequate but probably wouldn't stay there again.

What a charming place -- the interior architecture completely captures the spirit of the Pueblo Style. We arrived in the evening and saw the hotel's entry beautifully lit, the lobby ambience gleaming, and in the lobby-lounge we heard the mystical sounds of an indigenous flute player!! We were in Santa Fe for Indian Market. Each morning we'd take their shuttle to the plaza -- awesome drivers, great humor, and we met new friends too. At days end, my wife and I relaxed by having a late dinner in their indoor-outdoor restaurant. The cuisine was delicious, and the drinks had great spirit. Our suite was very cute (my wife's term) and accommodating for having breakfast each morning -- I had their omelet three days in a row and on the last day pancakes. Rest assured, we are going back to Hotel Santa Fe!!

We had a junior suite which was lovely! Breakfast is in a beautiful room with the feel of relaxation about it and lovely staff!!! Drinks at the bar in the evening - very relaxing. We had dinner here and it was very good, I was asked for a bigger tip - being English I didnt realise it should be 20% and only left 20 dollars so I gave her another 20! This hotel has a little pool area and jacuzzi - so nice! It also has its own little shuttle service which is amazing! Outside our room was also free coffee and tea from 7 til 11 - this hotel does not break the bank and is very nice!

Had massages at the Spa at Hotel Santa Fe. AMAZING. I’ve had a lot of massages over the years but first time at HSF. The spa was welcoming and comfortable and the massage was the best I’ve ever had - a truly skilled therapist. HIGHLY recommend the Spa at Hotel Santa Fe.
