We had a very nice seaview room, our terrace had a fantastic beach /seaview. The room is big, the aircon is quiet. It was quiet inside the resort. During weekend evening , we could hear the live music from the neighborhood restaurant of other hotels . But IT was ok for us, since it ends around 11p.m. The staff are all friendly and the owner, German/Filipina couple are very accomodating & friendly. Marlins Beach Resort is located on the central part of Santa Fe, Bantayan. It is only a few minutes walk to MJ Square, where the restaurants,bars and shops are located. We had a delicious breakfast with a nice beachview in there restaurant located directly on the beach. All in all, we were satisfied and will be coming back again, the next time we'll visit Bantayan.

We loved our stay at marlins beach resort. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beach was so close and could get a deck chair to relax in at anytime of the day. But especially the best thing was the staff, they were so helpful and kind and made our stay free and easy. I also thought the hotel had the best location to bars and restaurants and the shops you can walk to everything Would definitely recommend this place and would love to return there one day.

Original booking was for 3 nights in a deluxe garden view room. Arriving a day early we tried to add an additional night using AGODA. Tried ringing the hotel direct. Both failed. We could only book an additional night in a deluxe sea view room. We were disappointed to find that our deluxe garden view room (#21) was empty the night we spent in the deluxe sea view room. This meant 1 night in 1 room then move everything to the new room for the next 3 nights. The sea view room was superior. The resort is in a good location with terrific staff. I had read TA reviews about the hotel charging guests for staining towels and linen. You must sign a written agreement upon check-in about the fees they charge for stains and damage. I photographed the linen (with holes) and towels (threadbare) just in case. Inconsiderate guests were too loud in the passage way outside the rooms. Earplugs are needed.

Hotel is nice…. Staff was accommodating… little issues Were .. TV not working… beach was under construction Ocean was filled with trash… seems like a lot of plastic .. Had good security… Restaurant overpriced compared to the area.. They could use a pool to compete with the near by hotels … The noise(Music?) from a nearby bar was unbelievably loud till 11-12 pm … Breakfast was adequate…

Everything about this resort is perfect, from spotless clean room and linens to friendly and approachable staff it really feels that you are in one the 5 star hotels in Bantayan. We also enjoyed the bar, their breakfast buffet and live band Marivel the singer and her husband were amazing entertainers😊We will surely comeback to Marlin's❤️more power to this resort.

We stayed here foe a wedding on the island. We loved the location. You are literally on the beach. We had a room with a balcony facing the ocean. it was gorgeous. The only negative, the loud people on the beach at 3am. So rude!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great too. Thanks for an awesome stay!
