Hotel Riomar, Ibiza, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Riomar is a gorgeous boutique hotel right on the beach in Santa Eulalia. You are greeted with the most stunning sea view when walking into the hotel and the terrace area is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The rooms are perfectly equipped with robes, slippers coffee machine & a kettle and I would recommend a sea view room for an equally wonderful view as you walk in, also a great location to watch the sunrise. The food and drinks are great, and the location is perfect for wandering out as there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The bar, restaurant and staff on the beach /pool were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. I do have one negative and I don’t recall this being an issue last year, there was a really strong sewage smell on our floor and in our room, the hotel mentioned this was due to recent bad weather, unfortunately the smell remained during our stay. I also asked to change rooms on checkin as along with the smell I had been allocated an accessible room with a wet room which we didn’t want. I was made to feel a little bit like I shouldn’t be asking to change rooms even though I was within my rights having paid a considerable amount of money, luckily after a while the manager stepped in and swiftly changed our room, and smell aside this didn’t impact our stay. It really is a perfect hotel for couples, chilled girly holiday (think cocktails & sunbathing) & I can’t wait to return.

I was here for a retreat and it was such an incredible time. Riomar has the most amazing staff who go out of their way for you. They also have a gorgeous beach, a gym and I had an amazing sea view room. This hotel is not four star, it should be FIVE STAR. I literally cannot wait to be back.

What a fabulous hotel, I had an amazing stay. From the time I arrived, to the time I checked out, I absolutely can’t sing the praises of this hotel and their staff enough. From the reception staff, to concierge, to the wait staff and housekeeping, they were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone I encountered could not do enough to make sure my stay was fabulous. I had a beach facing room, which is well appointed and had everything I needed. I love the sliding balcony doors, which meant I could sit on my bed and have a morning coffee, pull them back and watch the waves on the beach. The pool area is lovely, super comfy sun loungers and very attentive staff to keep the cocktails and water coming! I also used the beach area, which was also fabulous with plenty of space and beds for everyone, with amazing service too. I do want to mention Oscar Beade, he was so kind, helpful and approachable, he totally made my stay an amazing experience. Thank you Oscar. Choosing this hotel was the best decision, it’s in a perfect location, is beautiful and I just can’t recommend it enough.

The location is great, the hotel is spotless and the staff are all so friendly, and I mean all the staff, I'm intending to return again. The beach sunbeds are also included which is great as it saves you extra expenses and your food, and drink delivered to the beach

Had a wonderful solo stay here. Loved my sea view room on the 4th floor so much that I hardly left it - the views of the sea from my balcony were incredible! The hotel staff were fantastic: attentive, polite and so helpful- nothing was ever too much trouble. If I had any request, it was dealt with very quickly. In particular, two highlights: 1. Gluten free station at breakfast- as a coeliac sufferer I was so pleased to see this. Excellent selection of food, and generally, the vibe at breakfast was so chilled and relaxed. 2. I suffer from severe dry eyes which unfortunately became worse when I arrived. The Riomar staff were so helpful in finding an optician for me on the day- and also allowed me to use their microwave to heat up a medical eye mask that I needed to use. This was very much appreciated as it made my stay so much more comfortable. The vibe at the hotel is super relaxed and peaceful, if that’s what you are looking for then this hotel is perfect. The vibe, along with the wonderful staff, made all the difference for me. I will definitely be back again in future.

The Riomar was a fabulous hotel, modern and clean. Breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from. The beds at the pool were luxurious with thick padded cushions on them. The hotel has sun beds on the beach which are free to hotel guests. Finally the staff cannot do enough to make your stay a good one! Only one small criticism, there is not much storage space for clothes.

Oscar and the other front desk staff are incredible. After staying in hundreds or maybe thousands of hotels around the world in my life, I might have found the best of the best. If I owned a hotel, I would hire Oscar to be the manager. He is that good. A genuinely kind human who seems to love his job and works very hard to make everyone as happy as possible, but I also saw him solve complex customer relations problems quickly. He made my special occasion vacation much more special, so I want to say MUCHAS GRACIAS to him and the other lovely people at the front desk who were always happy to help and never seemed stressed despite the hotel occupancy being very full in the high season. The hotel was the perfect location and environment. On a nice beach in a quiet town. I loved staying in this quieter town with great restaurants and driving to party spots, rather than the other way around. The hotel has a great chill vibe and never seemed crowded even in peak season. The outside dining/bar area has a wonderful view to the sea. And the drinks were fantastic. I really enjoyed the white sangria with lots of fresh fruit. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a wide range of healthy or not options. There are beach loungers and umbrellas but not 1:1, so my only recommendation for improvement is for the hotel to get more umbrellas. That being said, the beach attendants for the loungers/umbrellas and the food/drink service was all excellent and friendly. I highly recommend a sea view room because they all provide expansive views out to the sea with a balcony big enough to sit and enjoy the view, close enough to hear the waves. There is a big difference in your enjoyment between the sea and city view rooms at this hotel. In summary, this is an extremely impressive hotel for the service and products. Good people make a difference and every department in this hotel is staffed with friendly people who are giving outstanding hospitality. I already want to return!

A thoroughly excellent and beautiful hotel. The most lovely and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfectly located on a sandy beach, with ample sun beds and towels available. Lovely clean pool and bar service available to pool and beach. Food at breakfast and dinner was always excellent with lots of choice and healthy options. Breakfasts were particularly a favourite for my teenage sons who loved the eggs, bacon, hams, breads, pastries and fruit juices, and the club sandwiches at lunch! Entertainment from bands and singers on a couple of nights during our stay. Hotel was very close to the marina and ample bars and restaurants along the promenade. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!
