The pension is a good base in La Palma for exploring the town and a short walk to bus links for the rest of the Island. The hotel is in Calle O'Daly in the centre and although this is very quiet of an evening it is only a short walk to shops and restaurants. The room was part of the old house but had everything needed with a shower in the room and a separate toilet. I arrived late and the entry instructions were clear and it was easy to get in. The pension is an old house and from the street door I went up the stairs then through corridors and my room was at the back. It was a big old room with old double wooden entrance doors and windows at the end and the side both with shutters and an old dark wooden floor with wide floorboards. There was a low double bed a table and open area to hang clothes. There is a lounge and a small balcony at the front of the pension to sit in. The pension does not do breakfast (at the time of writing) but there is a café opposite to get breakfast and any rolls or sandwiches for the day. There are supermarkets nearby too. My boat was leaving later on the last day and they looked after my bag to pick up later. I had a nice stay and would be happy to stay there again.

Hemos llegado con nuestras bicicletas a las 22:45 por un retraso del ferry de tenerife. Mientras estaba siguiendo las instrucciones de check in aparece el dueño detrás nuestro, BORRACHO, diciéndonos que donde íbamos con esas bicis y que no se puede subir con bicis, que esta es una pensión no un almacén... Empezamos a discutir con el que nos encuentre una solución y al final nos ha echado devolviendonos el dinero. Nos tocó salir de la ciudad a buscar un rincón donde tirar tiendas de campaña. Al día siguiente nos confirman que si hay espacio para bicicletas y que suelen recibir ciclistas. Hay muchas opciones y bastante baratas por la ciudad.

Es una pensión sencilla pero está bien para una noche. Yo llegué en barco sobre las 22h y para no estar en carretera tan tarde cogí una habitación y ya al día siguiente saldría hacia Fuencaliente. Para pasar una noche está aceptable, sencillo pero limpio. La habitación tenía una cama, una mesa con silla y un lavabo. El baño estaba en la misma planta, compartido. El atendimiento fue muy bueno. Lo dicho, una opción para escapar una noche.

La pension est très bien située, dans la rue piétonne. Parking gratuit à coté du port à 5 minutes de la pension. Petite cuisine à disposition. Chambre correcte. Nous serions bien resté plus mais c'était full.
