There are about 10 rooms in this little hotel with cafe. The owners are obviously exceptionally proud of the place and there is a great deal of attention to detail. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a great shower. The breakfast was good but the room a little cramped. I think they tried to space people out but it wasn’t always successful. The staff were at all times friendly and professional. Personally I felt that the room was a little Spartan. Would have been nice to have more pictures and colour in the room. We didn’t need the kitchenette and perhaps a room without it, would have been cosier.

We stayed here just one night when we arrived on La Palma late evening (as planned) and this was ideal. Very central, close to several restaurants, cosy & comfortable room, quiet despite being so central, and a great breakfast in the morning. We didn’t book a superior room (on the top floors, with sea views over the roofs opposite) but didn’t feel we missed out when our balcony looked out onto a charming street in the old town. And they have a kettle in the room so you can have a cup of tea in the morning - luxury! Really friendly and helpful staff, too. Highly recommended.

Fabian greeted us upon arrival and provided better local information than we obtained from ANY of our previous hotels. His English is Perfect, very helpful for us. He knows the island well, allowing him to provide great tourist advice. If you arrive by bus from the airport, note that there is a bus stop past Parade Nord that brings you closer to the hotel. We agree with the other positive reviews about this place, so won't repeat them. Highly recommend.

This is a review for the rooftop bar only as we did not stay here. It is a small hotel in a quiet street in the town. If you are not staying, there is a minimum charge for drinks on the roof terrace. It is a small roof terrace and we were on our own. Lovely views out over the beach. We had two rounds of the signature cocktail which was banana based and delicious. Despite bananas growing everywhere, no other bar or hotel could make us a banana daiquiri so this was brilliant. And there were plantain chips to get with it. This place seem a good example of sustainable, local tourism to be encouraged in La Palma and a world away from the tacky places that the cruise ship people get funnelled towards.

Excellent stay with good and modern facilities and a modern vibe. Fabian and his family have created a really very nice hotel experience in the old city centre of Santa Cruz de La Palma! The superior room offers a arge size room with kitchenette and balcony with seaview. Fantastic kingsize bed, great bathroom and excellent breakfast included. Amazing rooftop terrace too for enjoying a cocktail]! Highly recommended)! Hig

We spent a lovely couple of nights in Banana Garden in a huge room with a little kitchenette and wet room, all very contemporary, stylish and spotlessly clean AND a sea view. Breakfast in the little cafe was charming, and very eco and the staff were very relaxed and helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights and no complaints at all. Perfectly situated for access to the town but a quiet street. Room was very big and spotlessly clean with excellent shower. Breakfast is good with high quality produce. Staff are all friendly and professional. Would stay again

This 9 bedroom hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Santa Cruz, La Palma. Walking distance to all shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies. Modern hotel with all the facilities one may need. A simple cold varied buffet breakfast is offered. Very cozy hotel. Very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
