Hotel Cubanacan America

The hotel is nice, a bit older. New sheets and towels are a must! The restaurant is good. I'm not sure why they don't have basic fruit and vegetables that I see everywhere on the street for sale. Some staff are inefficient. They should be retrained for customer service. The glass doors in the restaurant are always dirty. Even the front doors of the hotel. These are small things and can easily be changed. Thx

Great service, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the variety of the food is pretty good. The pool service has great food and the music is good. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers great variety.

This hotel is located in one of the side street behind the main square. This hotel is not a colonial Building. A normal 3 storeys Building. My room look like newly painted, no window (it's better for me to keep the noise away from outside ) Everything is absolutely 2-3 stars。But aircond has a noise like water dippping. Very annoying. So they change for me. The second room has a window, But too noisy from the street, the door lock not working well, the electricity plug felt off, the bedsheet has stain, the WiFi couldn't connect, So i ask the reception to change, her attitude was so rude Just say no. Said i changed Once. This is low season, hotel was empty. She Just refused to change. Right in the main square there are hotel centro, colonial building, outlook is impressive. Price similar to hotel America, Unfortunately it was my first choice but already full. Avoid this hotel, no offence.

Owner/ Manager only appeared to dispute our 2 night stay bill, on checkout. Lack of good daily management all too apparent.. Centrally located, near main square. Small room.Not checked. Shower drain blocked- failed to spot water flowing over the narrow lip, into the bathroom, into the bedroom, into the hall… Low ceiling breakfast room.Unsupervised waiter deafened us, both days, by non stop blending gallons of fruit juice, with the kitchen a swing door behind him. Coffee- ask for a refill- 3 euros please. Breakfast sparse and forgettable. Dinners too. Surly staff. Pool should have been ok, apart from the blaring music to the non existent people at the pool. Worst hotel we stayed in in Cuba. But good management would improve it..

Un hotel muy confortable,ubicado en el centro de la ciudad...un trato muy humano y cercano.Un ambiente de calidad .y una piscina muy refrescante bajo un sol caribeño muy intenso.. Espero regresar pronto para poder volver a disfrutar de sus instalaciones...

Muy mala calidad de la comida. 30 de octubre de 2024. Pescado casi crudo ( e- perlan ) una mini cucarachita en la salsa de las papitas. Mal olor del pescado. No lo recomiendo para comer. De la atención no tengo quejas. El hospedaje no puedo opinar. La comida pésima
