Finca Sa Bastida Luxury Retreat & Spa Adults Only - over 14

My husband and I were there in the summer (apologies to the hotel for my late review) and had a lovely stay. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We have been to Mallorca previously and stayed at the former Park Hyatt and while that was a beautiful resort Finca San Sa Bastida provided a more intimate/authentic Mallorcan experience. The food was also delicious. If I were to only make 1 suggestion it is it upgrade the towels and robes- they didn’t feel at par with the hotel. If you’re thinking about staying here you won’t regret it- just make the reservation.

What an amazing Hotel . The staff are all very nice and very helpful . The hotel setting is incredible can’t wait to come back ( I do not believe the comment from the guy having his money stolen . I would guess he lost it and had to blame somebody ). From arriving to leaving everybody was soo lovely and helpful so a big Thankyou to you all for making all 6 of us feel so special . During my stay at Finca Sa Bastida Luxury Retreat & Spa in Mallorca, I had an overall positive experience, initially deserving an 8.6 rating. However, my impression took a significant hit on the last day (and days after) when I discovered that there had been a theft in my room, resulting in the loss of an amount of 500 euros. The first, good and customer-friendly service by the hotel staff has now been overshadowed by theft and unfriendly and anti-social customer handling. Sadly, it overshadowed an otherwise beautiful and exclusive hotel located in the breathtaking countryside of Mallorca. Since I want other customers not only to focus on my theft, I'll first share my general feedback, and below will explain a bit more about the theft. The hotel's rooms were tastefully designed and impeccably clean, with a sense of novelty throughout. Although I noticed a few areas for improvement, such as the absence of a wastebasket in the room, lack of complimentary water, and the need for a bathroom door, these minor issues did not dampen my overall enjoyment. You really get a feeling of exclusivity and peace in your room. The location of the hotel is truly mesmerizing, surrounded by stunning landscapes. However, guests should know that a rental car is essential for venturing beyond the hotel grounds, as popular destinations like Palma de Mallorca, charming towns like Deia and Soller, and the picturesque east coast beaches are about a 40-minute drive away. For guests that are looking for a peaceful place to stay, Finca Sa Bastida is the place to be. I would like to give feedback that the hotel is looking for a differentiator, such as offering yoga classes or other facilities / activities that would belong to the hotel in this set-up. While the hotel shows great potential and already offers several facilities, it is evident that they are still in the early stages of operation. Some aspects, like installing air conditioning in the gym, expanding the selection of poolside snacks, have extra mirrors in the room, etc. could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, given the hotel's remote location, it might be beneficial to consider offering a mini supermarket on-site for guests' convenience. The inclusive breakfast provided at the hotel was okay, offering a small variety of fruits, bread, and spreads. Although I initially expected a more extensive breakfast spread at a luxury hotel, the staff was accommodating and willing to provide additional items upon request. Therefore, you should really ask what you wish for since the actual buffet is limited. Despite the earlier positive aspects, the theft incident significantly impacted my overall impression of the hotel. On the last day, I noticed that something was missing from my room after the hotel room got cleaned. We immediately went to the front desk, and the most disheartening part was the lack of understanding or assistance from the hotel staff during the check-out process. Sinc

Amazing establishment. The staff is super attentive and happy to help make your stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. We made a two night stop here during our honeymoon and it was an amazing and relaxing days. Highly recommend doing this stay for an quiet and relaxing couple days.

We recently spent a week at this hotel and it was amazing! The hotel itself is in a newly restored historic building, which has been beautifully designed - mixing old and new together. The room are lovely and the pool is amazing, it has a spectacular view of the valley below. We didn’t have a lot of expectations as this hotel had no reviews when we booked, but we are so glad we decided to try it. Genuinely one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The staff are all super friendly and go above and beyond to help with any query. The location is perfect in the center of the island and it makes a great base for exploring, you do need a car if you stay here. Overall it’s highly recommended, and hopefully we’ll have a chance to come back soon!

Wir sind zum ersten Mal nach Mallorca gereist und haben uns aufgrund der schönen Bilder entschieden die erste Woche unseres Urlaubs in diesem Hotel zu verbringen. Schließlich haben wir unseren Aufenthalt hier auf insgesamt 15 Tage verlängert, weil wir uns so wohl und willkommen gefühlt haben. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Insel und ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Ein Mietwagen ist für die Anreise notwendig, da das Hotel etwas abgelegen liegt. Sineu und Petra sind die nächsten größeren Orte, in denen man auch sehr gut Abendessen kann. Das Hotel liegt erhöht, so dass man einen tollen Blick auf den Ort Sineu, die Berge und Olivenhaine hat. Alles ist sehr friedlich und ruhig und es lässt sich wunderbar entspannen. Das Gelände des Hotels ist sehr großzügig, es gibt einen großen Parkplatz, einen wunderschönen Poolbereich mit Infinity pool, Bar und Tischtennisplatte. Außerdem gibt es ein kleines Fitnessstudio und einen Garten mit Olivenbäumen, in dem man sitzen kann. Im Hotel gibt es einen sehr schönen Wellnessbereich mit einer Dampfsaune und einer finnischen Sauna sowie einem Indoor-Pool. Da die ersten Tage etwas kühl und regnerisch waren haben wir den Spa-Bereich gerne genutzt und genossen. Das Hotel ist sehr stilvoll und romantisch eingerichtet: typisch spanische dunkle Möbel und viele Ölgemälde in hellen und modernen Zimmern. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer sehr sauber. Die Zimmerreinigung fand meist erst zur Mittagszeit statt, sodass man nach dem Frühstück noch entspannt auf dem Zimmer ausruhen konnte. Zu Beginn unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen, wir durften morgens direkt in das Zimmer und erhielten zusätzlich ein großzügiges Update des Zimmers auf eine Junior Suite! Georgi führte uns durch das Hotel und erzählte uns viel über die Geschichte des Gebäudes und das Hotel. Wir entschieden uns den ersten Abend im Restaurant des Hotels zu essen und waren begeistert! Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und hat durch die alten Mauern und die großen Fenster etwas ganz Besonderes. Das Essen war erstklassig und auf unsere Wünsche wurde umfassend eingegangen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr großzügig. Es gibt die Möglichkeit im schönen Innenhof, auf der Sonnenterasse oder im Restaurant zu frühstücken. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts wurde das Frühstück á la carte serviert. Nun aber zum Höhepunkt unseres Aufenthalts, der Service war erstklassig!!! Georgi, Jhoanna, Krasimir, Noemi, Joan und Irena hatten immer ein offenes Ohr für uns. Wir haben tolle Abende im Hotel verbracht und uns wunderbar mit ihnen auf Deutsch und Englisch unterhalten. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt und alle waren immer bemüht uns den schönsten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für diese tolle Zeit! Viele Grüße Carola und Timo
