La Alcoba del Agua Hotel Boutique

This was just the perfect hotel for our stay. A real relaxing home from home. It is smart, modern, clean and very comfortable. We booked a suite which was a very lovely room. Plenty of space with a seating area inside and a balcony overlooking the pool. A large comfortable bed and a really good sized and well equipped bathroom. A great feature for my very light sleeping husband was how extremely quiet it was. We were looked after beautifully - the owners couldn’t have been more helpful with suggestions for things to do and useful advice. Our breakfast each morning was delicious with many fresh items and a good choice. Sanlucar de Barrameda is a charming town and this hotel is situated perfectly within the old part. Thoroughly recommend.

A truly excellent place to stay. An impeccably renovated building with a lot of thought put into the design and use of bedrooms and open communal spaces. We rented one of the suites and had a spacious roof terrace with facility to dine outside and sunbathe. The kitchen in the suite was so well provided and there was plenty of comfortable seating indoors to relax. The area around the pool is calm and welcoming. Very helpful people run this establishment and speak excellent English too. Much recommended. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay in this lovely little town.

An excellent hotel. Beautiful interior which is kept spotlessly clean. Very comfortable room, good breakfast and above all, Miguel the owner who was both helpful and friendly. The hotel is well situated on the border of the high and low towns with an easy walk to the main square. We love Sanlucar!

This hotel is managed by members of the family that own it and, my word, it shows. The entire team were friendly and helpful but Miguel took customer service to another level. He offered information on restaurants, things to do, Manzanilla and so on but - and this had never happened to me before - also offered us a choice of three rooms, which he showed to us one by one. The hotel is beautifully designed and a very pleasant place to be. Miguel gave us his personal attention when it came to the parking and was happy to discuss Manzanilla at length. We only stayed two nights and I wish we had stayed for three. The breakfasts were perfectly pitched and efficiently served. If you are planning on staying in Sanlúcar, this place should be near the top of your list. In terms of value, it is unbeatable.

I have written over 350 reviews in over 125 cities / towns and this one is among the best boutique hotel I stayed in . The layout is excellent as a boutique hotel . I love it’s sophisticated simplicity ! We will be back as it was our first time and only stayed a day .
