Goss Hall Bed & Breakfast

We visited as a couple for one night for a belated Valentine. Although the setting is nice, we won't be going back as not great value for money and overall disappointing ! + quiet location and nicely decorated + not overlooked - very early breakfast, especially for a Sunday morning 8 - 9 am. We opted out so can't comment on the breakfast. - no heating in the morning. when I asked about this the host became quite defensive and asked me "why I hadn't turned on the electric heater and surely I knew what an electric heater looks like!" I wasn't told about this electric heater and it was kept out of sight hidden in the wardrobe. - very uneven flooring that shook the entire room and furniture. I like to be able to do a short walking workout to keep fit and this was not possible - the bathroom is not great. Smelled damp on arrival, toiletries provided were inadequate for 2 and for 2 nights (one tiny shower gel and shampoo). the bathroom is at the other end of the corridor, is very large and gets cold; my partner couldn't work the shower and had a cold shower

The best B&B we ever stayed. Wonderful people who really care about you. Magie and her daughter are the best hosts for this beautiful house and they serve you a wonderful breakfast. We come here for many years, and they have become friends because of the warmth.

when we arrived, before we were greeted, we were told to move our car, as space was tight (bearing in mind this place sits in 3 acres ) we were pretty confused by this,and just felt they were being awkard.what happens when all rooms are booked and there are serval cars ? maggie was very friendly,but stacey spoke only when she had to. we were only allowed 1 piece of toast at breakfast, where other guest were offered extra.by stacey. on arrival the handwash was empty !!! lovely place, but not very friendly.

Myself and my husband stayed here recently for two nights following our Wedding Vow renewal celebrations with friends earlier in the day. We have been several times in the past to Goss Hall and it remains a firm favourite. This is such a very special place, Maggie and Stacey are always so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is ever too much . The rooms are of a very high standard and oh, so so comfortable with beautiful soft comfortable bedding, sofas and cushions. The setting is so serene, quiet and relaxing in the countryside with their own lake. Cooked breakfast was delicious with yummy croissants/madeleines and cereals too. It was an absolutely perfect end to our celebrations with this small but very special break in a favourite place. Thank you Maggie and Stacey so much and for welcoming also our new little rescue spaniel Lucas, he loved his mini holiday too! Planning our next visit already! 🐾❤️

Wow…. What can we say…. We went for 3 nights as a family over the Easter Period and from the moment we arrived to when we left, the attention to detail was fabulous. The rooms where stunning and large, the grounds where great to have a walk for the kids to have a run around. The breakfast was amazing too… Couldn’t fault anything. We will be returning in the summer. Thank you Maggie and Stacey you were amazing hosts.

Goss Hall is a luxury B&B experience situated on a beautiful countryside site with a small stream and pond. It's charming location is complimented wonderfully by it's charming hosts who treated us with great kindness and care. We were upgraded to the Sebastopol room which was furnished beautifully and had a panoramic garden view. We ordered a cooked breakfast which was set for us in a very elegant breakfast room, where background music and garden views set a lovely ambience . Cooked breakfast was of very high quality, and was provided alongside a great breakfast buffet. Our hosts helped us to book a taxi for the evening and advised on some places to visit in the area on our return. The experience was, for us, perfect, and we only regretted that we didn't choose to book a two night stay. We would strongly recommend visiting Goss Hall and hope to return!
