The location is fantastic! The rooms are spotless and roomy. Ibon is an absolute gem - super friendly and helpful. He gave us some excellent tips on what to do in San Sebastián and where to eat all across the city. We’re definitely coming back next time!

a Gastronomic dream with maybe not the best host in San Sebastian, but maybe the best in Europe as a whole!!! Ibon and his beautiful wife will happily lead you through a dream of places to eat if you desire... after 30 years in the restaurant business, it was a pleasure to yet again be lead on recommendations by someone who loves food and people!!! the beds are super comfortable, its beautifully clean and nothing was a problem when it came to advice on the area. i have travelled from Australia 4 times now to San Sebastian and my last two visits have been here and i doubt i would ever stay anywhere else again..... a truly memorable experience with the best hosts ever.... A fantastic Pension located a hop step and jump from the main pintxos bars in the Old Town of Donostia. An easy walk to La Concha and Gros. Ibon was an excellent host and keen to impart his knowledge of the area and teach us a few Basque words. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was a perfect size for the two of us with a balcony overlooking the street. The reception area had tea/coffee facilities and plenty of tourist information about the area. Eskerrik asko.

This is a lovely place to stay. Right in the middle of the old town within 5 minutes of La Concha beach. I had the best night's sleep and lashings of hot water in the shower to ease aching legs after a day of walking. Ibon and his wife are attentive hosts and à mine of information on things to see and places to eat. They provided beach towels when I finally decided to take the plunge. I left with à great impression of San Sebastian, à burning desire to return to see more of this beautiful area and stay in this charming pension. I'm also going to try out a recipe for the local cheesecake which Ibon kindly emailed to me.

Great stay with Ibon as my host. Rooms are small but clean and fantastic location. You are amid the bars and restaurants. Beach is 5 min walk away. Bathroom with shower clean, towels provided. Sockets near bed. Electric blinds for the door (never even realised the switch was by the bed lol). Hairdryer and desk in room. Ibon Very helpful he gave us beach towels and booked the taxi for us and sent me a link for the busses too.

Had a great stay at Pension Iturriza. Great location in the Old Town, updated room, very clean & modern. Check-in was easy, organized & completely automated. The owner let us in the front door via cell phone & we had a code for the door to our apartment. A shared reception area had water, information on restaurants & things to do. We loved our stay! Don't miss tapas at La Cuchara de San Telmo--great ambiance & the best tapas we had on our entire trip!

We had such a wonderful stay. Room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Cute balcony overlooking quiet street, right in Old Town. Near everything, including the beach. Our host, Ibon, was the best!! Very communicative about where to park and how to check in. Gave us lots of good recommendations for food/drinks. The best suggestion was a hike to Pasaia, with spots for lunch, bus ride back. We parked in the free lot near the old bullring in Illumbe, took bus #28 into Old Town. Once we found the bus stop on google, which was up the road from the parking lot, it was very easy. Paid cash when getting on bus, driver made change. Got off at Boulevard 9 stop, easy walk to Pension.

Een hele mooie plek voor een verblijf in San Sebastián. Vlakbij leuke barretjes, bezienswaardigheden en het strand maar op de kamer heerlijk rustig. De kamer was helemaal compleet, schoon en met een heerlijke douche. Zeer aardige host die ons geholpen heeft met vragen die we hadden.

Accoglienza ottima, ci hanno dato ottimi consigli e sono stati molto disponibili. Abbiamo solo avuto difficoltà a trovare l'ingresso, in quanto il navigatore ci dava come indirizzo un negozio, ma la struttura attraverso messaggio ci ha dato tutte le info necessarie. La camera è molto accogliente e dispone di tutti i servizi necessari, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Spero di tornare presto!
