The Boulevart is a very small little hotel in the heart of the tourist zone. While the hotel itself is simple, it is very clean and well worth the value. Nearby hotels, albeit with more services, would charge 2-3 more for the same location. The room has decent air conditioning although it's on a timer so you need to either change the base settings or restart the unit from time to time. The room also came with a mini-refrigerator that included a couple of cans of beer and coke along with 2 water bottles. It was a nice touch. Daniel, the manager, was very friendly and gave us some good ideas regarding some things to do in the area. The check in process was very efficient and we were good to go within a few minutes. If you are OK with simple and clean, the Boulevart Donostia is 100% recommended. While I didn't cut the review ranking I would have two suggestions to the team: 1) Improve the signage for the hotel. The hotel occupies most of one floor of a larger building and is almost impossible to find on the street. We actually needed to call Daniel to find the entrance. NOTE - It is pretty much right next to Burger King. Look above the door to spot the #2 and the key pad to the left has a button to gain entrance. 2) The safes in the rooms should be bolted down so they can't be easily removed. While I wasn't too concerned about the security of the building, it would have been nice if it was a bit tougher to simply walk off with room safe.
