Nice and clean hotel with a very bad service

Great management makes great vacations

We enjoyed our couple of nights in this rather grand hotel. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A wonderful dining room with amazing views. Excellent breakfast with a fantastic choice. Spacious room with great bed. One minor complaint was regarding the water from the shower seeping out to the shower room floor which was a concern re slipping.

We kind of got a bad feeling from arrival at the Hotel when we were told they don’t provide assistance with luggage, 16 stairs to climb with luggage was not a good start while the two front office staff sat behind the counter offering no assistance or help. This was followed by a issue in regards to beach access, the hotel web site states beach access courtesy of Hotel, be but we were informed they charge 45 EUR a day, the young girl girl working at the reception told us this is alway a problem with guests and the hotel should update its website. In the end we walked across the road to the club to find they only charge 22 EUR a day for two sun beds and an umbrella, it seems the hotel puts a 100% mark up on the price they charge. In the end we walked 300 meters along the beach and found a great beach club charging 14 EUR for two guests and spent our week there with a better beach and great restaurant and bar for lunch. Rooms are good size and bright but the hotel is poorly managed with staff not providing any levels of service. Breakfast is poor and impossible to get coffee. HK vacuuming corridors outside guest rooms late at night, all showing little management of the hotel. There are better options including Hotels with pools that we will book for our next visit to beautiful Sanremo.

This is exactly the kind of hotel you dream of staying at on the Italian Riviera. Sumptuous and luxurious, it even has complimentary umbrellas in the entrance lobby for when it rains. Our room was wonderful, large and well appointed with a view to one side of the sea from the balconies. Plenty of space for everything plus a room safe. And unlike many continental hotels there was a kettle plus assorted teas and coffees in the room. The breakfast room is spectacular, large and beautifully decorated and with a sea view and the choice at breakfast is excellent. Definitely a great place to stay in Sanremo.

We came on a whim staying in 2 junior suites. 1st floor had a great balcony. 4th floor had small windows no balcony. Very quiet hotel especially how close to water and center town it was the bed was terrific. And that the elevator was right outside our door never heard it. Only have 4 stars since it was a little dated inside... but that's just a taste issue. One issue... there are steep stairs into the hotel which made it very hard for my 86 year old mother in law.

Together with my husband we had the signature massage. Did not expected to be so disappointed: the oil was supposed to be hot, but instead was cold. The room was cold. But what stroke me most was the lack of experience and kindness from the girl doing the massage. To start with, she did not ask anything (I speak Italian fluently, this was not the problem). I would have expected to be asked about the pressure of the massage, am I cold … nothing at all. Then when I finally asked for a towel to be covered as I was cold, she just ignored my request. I thought this was personal at first, but then my husband had the same bad experience. Do not recommend. It’s a pity for such a nice hotel.

This is our favourite place in Sanremo! We love the fantastic & friendly staff, who hasn't changed over the years, their 2 spectacular private spas and the treatments their amazing beauty therapist Alessia provides, the palatian breakfast (now converted into a covid-friendly buffet). The direct view over the sea from the rooms, and the scenic elevator ride overlooking the beautiful orthodox church next door. The location is easy access on foot to some of the best restaurants, cafés and markets in town plus the waterfront is literally 2 minutes away. Book through the hotel directly for the best deals!

Hotel strepitoso da ogni punto di vista: posizione fronte mare, camere eleganti, spaziose e curate in ogni dettaglio, ambiente rilassante, personale sempre sorridente e disponibile, colazione con prodotti freschissimi e molto vari L’alta qualità dell’offerta giustifica il prezzo. Assolutamente all’altezza delle aspettative e degno di nota. Consigliato

Il mio punto di riferimento a Sanremo : ottimo albergo, accogliente e curato, silenzioso ed elegante, con una colazione di qualità e personale professionale. Una garanzia, lo frequento da anni ! Roberto Mirabile, La Caramella Buona Onlus.

Stiamo sempre molto bene. Il personale è affidabile e attento Camere ampie e vista favolosa della riviera di Sanremo e del mare. Un posto raffinato al riparo dalle mode di passaggio. Anche la posizione rispetto al centro commerciale della città è magnifica. Bar ben fornito.

A FUIR ! Pas de voiturier ni pas de SPA contrairement à ce qui était indiqué sur le site internet. PAS D’EAU CHAUDE pour la douche et une réceptionniste qui n’en a rien à foutre. Une pure arnaque à 200€ la nuit !!! Personnel à la réception absolument pas aimable. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

L'hotel di per sé è da consigliare, ben posizionato, ambienti comuni e camere molto belle, direi lussuose. Personale gentile e professionale. Nota di merito per la colazione veramente sontuosa. Cosa non mi è piaciuta particolarmente è la rumorosità notturna ( camera che dava sull'aurelia con ambulanze e centauri a tutte le ore della notte) e la mancanza di un dehor per la colazione. Tutto sommato buon hotel.
