Barceló Tenerife

I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel team for the feeling of being a welcome guest in the hotel, special thanks to Viktor for his educational activities, and to the cooks, everything is very tasty and varied. I want to come back again, bravo Barcelo

Very bad experience, I had to move room, water was leaking from light in the bathroom, very dangerous situation, and the staff on the front desk, didn’t take as serious as the situation is, electricity and water don’t combine. After insisting and complaining to change room, and saying that would leave and go to another Hotel whit all the expenses charged to them, they decided to take measures and give us another room, from all that horrible experience, I forgot a pair of Golf Shoes on the, went back again to the front office, told them, even showed them the pictures, from were I left them, and they are gone. No Security no Safety. I m very upset whit all the experience.

Just back from a fabulous 10 days spent at Barcelo Tenerife with husband and two daughters aged 10 and 14. We had a family suite which was huge - 2 inter- connecting rooms with big terraces. The beds and pillows were super comfy. Check in 3pm so our room wasn't ready when we arrived around 12:30 although was ready for 2:30pm. Hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. At first I was annoyed when we were told we had to make reservations for breakfast and dinner each day but we never had any issues booking the time slot we wanted even when booking same day and it did mean that mealtimes never felt busy/chaotic. Food was good and we made the most of the snack bar. Pools aren't very big but as they are a few of them, never felt crowded. At check in you are told that sunbeds can't be reserved and left for more than half an hour but no-one bothered when you left them for lunch which I think is sensible. A few people reserved them in the mornings but not many. Most sunbeds taken by 9:30 - we went for breakfast around 8:20 and had no issue at all getting prime sunbed areas after breakfast. Entertainment is very good overall - we loved the white party and atlantida show. The pre-show at 3pm by the infinity pool is not to be missed! There are are a few restsurants and bars 10 mins walk away - turn right out the back of the hotel. A small fishing village, los abrigos is to the left if you want a more authentic spanish feel. We went on one trip to Siam Park which was amazing. Check out is 12pm and all inclusive finishes at this point so if leaving later, make sure you stock up at breakfast abd have a supply of water! Really lovely relaxing holiday, not the crazy/chaotic all inclusive you can sometimes experience.

The perfect place for us. Close to the airport. It is possible to rent a car to visit the island. The food was delicious, for all tastes. The hotel employees are very kind and friendly. It was a successful holiday as a couple. I will come back another time with great love.

The hotel was excellent from start to finish. The staff were all friendly and gave the impression that they genuinely cared about your stay at the hotel. We had 2 adjoining rooms (2 adults + 3 kids), and both were clean and spacious; with lovely views of the pools and ocean. We were initially booked as half-board, but upgraded to AI on arrival, and in my opinion was well worth the money. One thing to note for people booking is that this is not a party resort/area, so if you are looking for music and drinking to the early hours, you would probably be disappointed. For us, the bars closing at midnight was not an issue as this was in keeping with the relaxing feel of the hotel, and assured a great night's sleep. The food was amazing at the Drago buffet, with a large selection of food available for every meal. The hotel didn't seem as busy as I expected, so I am not sure if it gets busier in July/Aug. I will be hoping to return to this hotel again in the future as it was an amazing stay.

Fantastic experience!!! We have spent the last 7 days being treated like VIP guests, nothing has been too much trouble from all members of the Barcelo team. A special thank you to Jose Ramon a true professional and great ambassador for the Barcelo brand!

Barcelo Tenerife Resort is an excellent resort at very reasonable cost. The facility in general is beautiful and well-appointed. The rooms are very modern and suitable for all travelers. The dining opportunities exceeded our expectations. Excellent buffets. And multiple swimming pools including a salt-water pool are available. A great way to relax. Our recommendation for all travelers is, after you land at Tenerife South Airport, take a taxi to the resort and relax for several days before bothering to rent a car. Customer services staff at the resort are the best. We plan to return soon.

Barcelo Tenerife was wonderful! Firstly the rooms - clean, comfortable and great facilities. We had interconnecting rooms which was perfect for our family. Food - the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets were brilliant, real mixture of foods, and lovely to have themed evenings (where there were alternatives available too). We had one meal at one of the restaurants on site: Arrozante - this was good, however I would not go again as for the money you spend on it, the food was no better than what is served in the main restaurant. Drinks - really great selection of cocktails and drinks included, and very generous of their pours! My kids personal favourites were the San Francisco mocktails. Pools - our room was opposite the Breeze bar pool which is the only heated pool in the hotel - this was lovely and great for the kids, however my favourite pools were the ones closest to the sea. Although they arent heated the water is a lovely temperature and perfect for jumping in after a while on the sun lounger! There was occasional classes (I never expected to be doing a pool based pole dancing class!) which were fun, and I really enjoyed the singers that performed on 2 of the days. Evening entertainment - on the whole this was very good. At 9pm there is a 30 minute music quiz before the main entertainment that included a magic show, white party, flower party and chinese acrobats. Perfect for my children who are 7 and 11. All finished by around 10.30pm. Location - there isnt much going on around the area, a few hotels and a couple of shops. It is really close to the airport so you do get planes going over regularly but the noise isnt too bad an never bothered us. We went on 2 excursions. Siam Park (30 Euro taxi from the airport however it was absolutely heaving, only go if you love a nice queue!) and Loro Parque (1.5 hr coach trip to the other side of the island, however it was incredible - absolutely worth the trip). Would recommend the hotel to anyone, a true paradise!

I love this hotel bit it’s become so expensive for a solo traveller , wanted over 2 k for 10 nights all inclusive, great staff and just a lovely enjoyable place to be , I’ve booked the barcelo Santorini this time I go next week , please please think about solo when pricing , I just could t afford you this year but a beautiful place I feel like I’m home
