This is a lovely hotel that managed to well serve a group of 18 despite the fact that the hotel had changed ownership within two weeks of our arrival. Despite having no liquor service due to license transfer delays and limited food service, a new employee, Jean Luis managed to feed us, serve us wine and cover us nearly single handed. He is a marvel of hard work, long hours, and devoted service. I am in the restaurant world in California and would steal him in a heartbeat if it was possible. He is an inspiring lesson in what a difference a single employee can be. Without him, this hotel would not get 5 stars. The beds are dreamy. The place is lovely. The roof garden & pool is terrific. I did get the impression that young friends of management may have use of the facilities however. Umbrellas are needed up there. I recommend this hotel.
