Il Vicario

We had a fantastic time staying at Il Vicario. Fulvio and Katia were very welcoming and friendly, especially to our little girl. They were always helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. We can't wait to come back!

Loved our stay at Il Vicario. It's a very peaceful place where you will feel you can rest. Super close to the lovely medieval town of San Gimignano with lots of little shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable and very private. Katia and Fluvio were great hosts. Fluvio knows a lot about the area and gave us great recommendations of other small towns and day trips we could do in the area. We also had great breakfasts and took a cooking class as well that we really enjoyed. Would definately go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed this cooking course. Fulvio was easily able to cater for gluten free and was very knowledgeable. Lovely fresh ingredients and attention to detail made a beautiful lunch with well matched wines. The following night were were easily able to recreate the pasta recipes and we will definitely be using them again. Fluvio made us feel welcome and gave us further ideas for things to do in the area.

We had another wonderful stay with Katia and Fulvio. The location, food , hospitality are beautiful. Simple relaxation with no distraction of noise and tv. We love it there and will always return. Prepare to be treated warmly and fed well ! !

I attended the cooking class and can highly recommend it. I changed the dates 100 times, the owners were always patient and understanding and quick in replying. They are extraordinarily friendly and welcoming people. I'm sure also the b&b works well. The cooking class itself is very interesting, you eat what you cook, you learn genuine Italian cuisine, make an oil, cheese and wine degustation at the same time. Good value for money. They even have us some pasta in the end to take away. Highly recommended!

My friends and I stayed 4 days with Fulvio and Katia at Il Vicariò in October, and what a breath of Italian fresh air it was. The farm house is quaint, beautiful, and well maintained. We spent hours in the dining room talking with Fulvio about Italy and our Italian heritage. We had the best Italian cooking class with him, and learned so much from him about food and cooking. We had the pleasure of accompanying Katia to the olive grove, where we had adopted olive trees for our families. What joy and emotion to see the plaques on the trees that bore our family names forever ! The olive is by far best produced in Italy ! We have many shipments come to the USA throughout the year. We also spent a lovely day in the Chianti Region with Katia visiting some wonderful family owned vineyards. In the evenings, we chose to dine at Il Vicariò and observe Fulvio and his sister cook their wonderful recipes for us. We enjoyed our meals while conversing with guests from other countries. Il Vicario is an experience not to be missed. Grazie Mille Fulvio and Katia. We will return very soon !!!
