We had an excellent stay. The bed was so comfortable and the service was so good. We didn’t realise breakfast was included and you can make free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the foyer all day which was a blessing.

The location is convenient, and the service at the reception is good. I asked for a room change due to the initial one facing the road. However, the noise cancellation in the room is poor. The shower takes awhile to turn warm, and the water pressure is inconsistent as well.

Hated my neighbor in the connected room, that set his alarm to 6 am, and snoozed every 10 min for two hours. Injured myself trying to get out of their old school elevator. Would not stay here again and don’t recommend.

The hotel is well situated, when we arrived our booking had been rejected but TRIP had not told us this ( jet lagged and exhausted) and thankfully they sorted it out for us with a different room type, we were very lucky they could . The reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast is basic at best and the fitness room is three machines and a set of odd weights ! We got a good deal but I wouldn’t have wanted a pay full price. Loved the lift and the fruit water / free coffee.

Clean, friendly, comfort and near to all things

Great hotel, fab location. Front desk was wonderful, and the room was clean. Loved the roof patio. No desk so try to enjoy this trip okay? 😉

The night staff was not very helpful, but the morning and daytime staff were excellent. My room was near the main road, so it was quite noisy in the early morning. However, with earplugs, it shouldn’t be a problem. The highlight of my stay was the complimentary breakfast—it was definitely the best part! The hotel is conveniently located near several bus stops, and Trader Joe’s supermarket is just a 3-minute walk away, making it easy to grab meals and other essentials.

The hotel’s location and cleanliness matched the description, but the most concerning issues were the safety of the room window and the poor soundproofing. We could hear every footstep from the floor above, every passing car, and every door opening and closing on the same floor. These noises constantly disrupted our sleep, preventing us from resting for more than an hour at a time.Additionally, the window was not secure, as it had no lock and could be easily opened from the outside, which was particularly worrying given its proximity to an emergency exit staircase. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night, but if you need a quiet environment to sleep, I would strongly advise against staying here.

Bed was big and comfortable. Room was small- would be a struggle for 2 people and their belongings. Staff were friendly.

This is an old-fashioned hotel.  The facilities in the hotel are acceptable.  I'm a traveler who usually goes out early and returns late to the hotel, a shower and a clean bed are enough.  No more expectations in this small hotel.  However, the lobby and receptionists are ok.

Good location only 10 minutes walk to union square,for the price was a great place to stay

The hotel is ok clean, but the service is very poor. I arrived around 5pm and the room I was as assigned was not clean so they cleaned it and it took and extra 30 minutes. I had to stay a second night and made arrangement at front desk. Had to leave and came back late at night. The room hadn’t been cleaned, the bed made, and there was no soap or coffee. I went to the front desk and I was given two bags of coffee. This morning around 9am the cleaning crew know Jen and opened the door while I was still sleeping. Now they seemed busy to do cleaning. I have to stay an extra two days in San Francisco so I packed up my things and went to a different hotel.
