Charming, cozy art-filled inn. Freda, the owner hostess, was gracious, friendly and very helpful. She made dinner reservations for us and gave us lots of recommendations on what to see and do. Our room was fine for 2 adults. The breakfast was delicious, lots of variety, well-prepared.

Freda was so friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was very perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend the Always Inn for anyone that is planning a trip in and around San Clemente.

Our weekend getaway at the Always Inn did not disappoint. The room with a plant ensconced patio and attached dedicated parking space was everything we hoped for. The location could not have been better, it is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and beach. Freida, host/owner, feels like an instant friend. She provided vast and extremely accurate recommendations and her cooking and menus way exceeded any expectations we had. We felt so welcome and content, we did not want to leave. Can't wait to go back.

Freda the hostess is a gem. A world traveler, master chef, and baker, and San Clemente expert, she treated us like royalty! The inn is quaint and beaches, shops, restaurants are a short walk away. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for the special treatment!

My mom, my sister and I had a wonderful time at Always Inn. Freda, the owner, makes you feel like family. She’s very warm and very hospitable. We had delicious free breakfast every morning. Always Inn provides things that a regular hotel won’t provide like phone charger, Q-tips, cotton balls, iron steamer, free snacks like chips, granola bars, fruits and variety of tea selections. Plus, free parking is great. We felt like VIPs. We recommend this place.

Freda is a very gracious person. The inn is set in middle of San clemente and is very peaceful. She even cooks us breakfast and so many wonderful stories. We will come back often. Each room is different and have a fridge. Kitchen is accessible to us.

Was the most phenomenal stay for us in many years. This is a true 5 star bed and breakfast. Upon arrival Freda showed us around and gave us many options for places to relax and have our morning breakfast. She then gave us the rundown on what we could do in San Clemente! The sleeping was so comfortable and the breakfasts were phenomenal. Loved every bit of it

Two remarkable things about Always Inn: (1) It's a thoroughly top-notch -- the owner was attentive to making all aspects of my wife's and my stay enjoyable, including but certainly not limited to a comfortable and welcoming vibe and a delicious breakfast in a wonderful green oasis; and (2) the reviews are all consistent on these points. That says a lot about the owner's dedication. I've been delayed for a while in adding this review, but glad I've finally been to do this in appreciation for all she'd given us.

We’ve always preferred staying at B&Bs over conventional hotels when we travel but we’ve never been at one where we’ve felt like we were actually in someone’s home. Freda, the owner and consummate hostess of the amazing Always Inn, welcomed us like we were longtime friends, no, more like family! She has a wealth of knowledge about the area and gladly shared it with us to make sure that we took in as many of the wonderful local attractions as possible. Her breakfasts are too delicious and my partner is still raving about her Shepherd’s Pie. I can’t say enough good things about Freda and the Always Inn!
