Wow - what a magical place. When you walk through the front door you feel like you are entering a different world. What a uniquely beautiful place. With only 6 rooms it feels like you are staying in a high end villa with the most wonderful service - the staff can’t do enough. Ice creams by the pool and on tap cake, juices and drinks are all part of the service. A great place to explore Castro and otranto and surrounding coast.

We've had the most wonderful holiday at Don Totu and are so sad to be leaving. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and it's one of our favourite places we've stayed. First of all the staff are so warm, friendly and professional. Alessandra, Deborah, Davide and Luca (and everyone else) are truly wonderful people who made a huge fuss of our 2 year old and provided exceptional service. As it's a small boutique hotel you really feel like you're at home. We loved meeting the other guests but also there's plenty of space for you to keep to yourselves when you want. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and there are a couple of restaurants within a 5 minute walk which are good for dinner. By the end of our stay we really felt like we were part of the little village of San Cassiano. Our room was huge, spacious and comfortable and we slept well every night and the swimming pool and garden area is beautiful. At 6pm they serve drinks and Davide makes a stunning negroni. We really, really hope we will get to visit again sometime. Thank you so much. Oscar says thank you for all his pasta cheese!!

There are no words to explain how amazing Don Totu is. The home, the grounds, and especially the PEOPLE were beyond our expectations. Alessandra, Davide, and Mary brought the perfect local, warm, and friendly touch to our stay. The room was spectacular but it was the Italian famiglia feel that makes this a MUST visit.

This has to be one of the best hotels ever!! Everything was perfect - a totally unique experience . The staff were outstanding. It truly is a gem. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable - it would be hard to beat the delicious breakfasts but the staff make the whole stay exceptional. I would really love to return!

Simply paradise! Don Totu is a magical place with beautiful rooms, luxuriously furnished with no expense spared and wonderfully attentive staff. We loved every single moment of our stay. This is definitely a sanctuary away from work and home. Highly recommended and I hope we will return to Don Totu again soon!

Don Tuto encapsulates the best parts of staying in a hotel and combines it with the freedom and intimacy of a villa. The facilities provided are excellent and as there are only 6 rooms nothing is ever crowded. All the staff have a smile on their faces and were constantly assisting us with plans for the day and restaurants to visit. From the complimentary yoga lessons in the mornings to the bikes you could take out to explore the local towns everything was catered for. Special mention to Davide, Mary and Alessandra who really helped make me and my girlfriends trip special! Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to avoid the crowds and have a laid back week in Puglia.

Where to start - this is such a special hotel - incredible style , beautiful rooms and gardens and the most fabulous engaged team . Just come here to switch off and chill chill chill . Every moment of your day is sorted for you from the 8.30 complimentary yoga class to cocktails in the courtyard at 6.30pm . We stayed in a superior room which was architecturally stunning , stylish and just so comfortable with acres of space a huge bathroom . All the team are fabulous our favourite is Davida - he is a cocktail barman extraordinaire - they all work so hard from morning to night to make your experience so special Such a generous place complimentary soft drinks , ice cream and cakes available all day from the pool bar and the kitchen Book now Puglia needs our support You will no regret it ❤️

this morning we checked out of Don Totu after 4 days. A *tremendous* positive experience. The level of quality of the staff, in particular Alessandra, is 5 stars, so rare to find in Europe and, above all, the entire staff work as a team - obviously honest, respectful and affectionate of each other and of guests. This was especially visible in the kitchen, through Michaele and Davide’s interaction with Ada - the master chef! These are very fine people. EXCEPTIONAL. Don Totu - in entirety - successfully reflects the highest standard of luxury. We shall certainly return.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 short nights at the beginning of September during our honeymoon. We loved everything about Don Totu - the insanely beautiful grounds, the delicious breakfast, the amenities, and most importantly, the incredible staff. Alessandra, Mary, and Davide were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. It was like staying in a boutique hotel that also felt like home. We are already planning our next trip to Puglia, and this will 100% be one of the places we stay.
