Lovely clean spacious accommodation,really couldn’t ask for more,Despina and Manilos where perfect hosts ,there when u need them and always happy to help and will do anything they can for you,lovely view of the sea from the bar area and very peaceful but close to everything,10 min walk into Sami ,perfect location to explore the island,will be back . Wish I had took more pics !

We have just had the most wonderful holiday here in Sami. We didn’t want to leave! Despina and her family are the loveliest people you could meet and they gave us lots of tips for places to visit. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, very quiet and chilled. There is a lovely bakery next door and you can also have breakfast on the terrace with fabulous views of the sea and the mountains. It is a stones throw from the sea and a short walk into Sami. We hired a car and the driving is super easy, just go nice and slow! We took the car to Ithaca for a day and visited Skala and Lassi and a couple of other places. But once we found the beach nearby, which is called Antisamos beach, we went there everyday. It’s a very easy 10 minute drive and very easy to park. It’s such a beautiful place, crystal clear waters, lots of free sun beds and places to eat and drink. Also a fantastic bar to go to with great music in the evening is called Manifiko in the heart of Sami, a short walk away. There are numerous places to eat too, all of which are delicious. We will definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here to stay.

The location was perfect for exploring the island and only a short walk into Sami. Despina was an absolutely lovely host. Super friendly, always happy to help, provide recommendations and answer questions. We also loved our little mezze plates when we ordered drinks from the bar. We can fully understand why Kalypso Studios is so well reviewed, we couldn't fault it at all and would love to come back! We borrowed beach towels, umbrellas and chairs for our travels to local beaches which was a kind and helpful gesture. Thoroughly recommend ordering the breakfast, perfect way to start the day and the homemade marmalade was amazing! We're so sad to have left and want to say thanks again for helping us have such an amazing stay.

10/10. Would stay here again. The service was amazing. Our room always clean. Friendly and willing to help. Host helped us to choice activities, what to do, and where things are. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Feels like having a Greek mother for the week.

An amazing place clean fantastic views and the owners are lovely helpful people . As a result this was our fourth visit. Location is a beautiful 20 minute walk along the beach into Sami or three restaurants and a bakery in the village itself. Beach two minute walk and it was wonderful for a morning dip.

It was ovr our expectations.like filling at home A warm and the best service, can not be better. Location nere Sami and sea vew were very good, the rooms were very clean and the ouner gave us 12 days that we will never forgat She helpt us were make the tours and the best restursnt in the area Tzali

Conveniently located at the same distance (1h by car tops) from the main attractions in Kefalonia. The accommodation offers a nice outdoor space, a garden with a little pool and a terrace. Apartments are very clean, with enough room and smart solutions for luggage storage, fitted with everything you may need, from hair dryer to coffee machine… unless you want to taste the host’s homemade breakfast - healthy and tasty! Likewise, Despina’s husband, Manolis, prepares super fresh Greek Mojitos (and other cocktails too) in a way you won’t forget. Despina and Manolis, with their suggestions and efficient yet warm service, definitely are the added value to a beautiful stay.

When your host welcomes you choosing to wear a union jack tee shirt you know some excellent customer care awaits you. And so it did. In fact, in all our extensive travels we’ve never experienced the level of personal hospitality that came from the owners Despina and Manolis. As for the accomodation itself, it was clean, spacious and had all we needed for a very reasonable price. The lovely shaded veranda at the back was an added bonus. Beach chairs and parasols were there to borrow. And the breakfast on the terrace for €5 was a bargain. We loved the location too. An easy walk for a choice of three tavernas, a five minute drive to the delightful harbour of Sami festooned with places to eat. And a reasonable drive to a couple of beaches. All in all, what’s not to like. And that is surely who so many of our fellow guests come back your after year. Wise move.

We have recently returned from our 7th stay with Despina and Manolis and their lovely family, what can we say that we haven’t said many times before, we feel like we are at home, they are genuinely nice people . FANTASTIC people actually, had some great nights in the garden watching football with them and other guests, wonderful atmosphere ( sorry about your team Manolis, I know you don’t believe me but I mean it ) .
