Hotel Best San Francisco

This was a great hotel to stay in. I've been to Salou a number of times and the location of this hotel was perfect for us, close enough to everything without being noisy or too busy. The rooms were good, basic but good. You do need to hire a kettle if you want one but it's only 5 euros. The staff were very helpful and the only hotel I've ever stayed in where you're not scrambling for a sun bed in the morning. We hired pool towels when we got there for 10 euro deposit each. Very relaxed hotel and would definitely stay there again. We never had food at the hotel so can't comment on this.

Well when we came to the hotel everything was fine and the room was clean, very small room but that’s okay cause we spend most time out of the room. So no complains there we couldn’t play with the ball in the pool also fine we understand that. The staff are very nice people and willing to help. But lemme tell you something about the food. We had half pension so we got breakfast and diner. Some things where fine but other things were so cold the cheese in my lasagna became hard the fries where sticky and not good. And the chick was rotten LOOK OUT FOR THE CHICKEN!!!! . Thankfully we saw it on time and only ate a little. (Felt sorry for the other quests). Overall stay in the hotel was nice i recommend it for breakfast but do yourself a favour and eat diner somewhere else.

Rooms are fine, but my advice is not to get meals included as the food is cold , nothing is even warm and you may get caught in a queue for the microwave

GOOD Great location Lovely food Very clean BAD Very busy but to be expected in June Beds are quite firm but I’m ok with that but it might not suit everyone. We paid over €1000 for the weeks stay and they wanted another €35 euro (€5 per day) to provide us a small kettle . We found this to be extremely greedy. We wouldn’t stay again as a result of that , not a very good way of operating.

Came for a weekend while my daughter had a basketball tournament locally I liked the hotel. The rooms are big the staff are friendly and helpful pool is nice though a tad small. 2 things the car park is small so be aware there might not be space. Also a really cool thing is you can control the air conditioning from a button next to the bed that is really cool.

We found the hotel to be clean however the bedrooms are extremely small, dated and beds uncomfortable. The pool area does not have enough sun beds and the lifeguard is nothing short of disgraceful. His attitude towards the foreign guests was awful, he stopped a group of boys playing with a ball in the pool and at one point jumped in and started screaming at a young boy in the pool. Completely unprofessional and made a complete fool of himself. He then pulled an inflatable from the group and took a sharp implement from his bag and stabbed the inflatable. All the while he talked nicely and laughed and joked with the Spanish guests. As a large group with a lot of children we were made to feel completely unwelcome. The hotel is in a good location with access to shops and the beach.
