Facilities were great, breakfast excellent, welcome rather cold

Hotel it’s self was great a new refurbished room the bar and restaurant was the worst I’ve been too!!! No one served us, after going to be served mine and my work colleges meals came over an hour apart from each other !! We ordered the same time. Three serving and not one knew what they was doing and it was only half full.

Bedrooms very clean and tower fans provided as extra ventilation during the heatwave which was very helpful. Beds comfy but disabled room had shower over the bath so couldn't be used. I would argue that it wasn't a disabled room but a standard one with a lower bed and emergency pull cord. Needs upgrading to a wet room ideally. Both self check in booths were out of order meaning a wait for someone to manually check us in and the 2 rooms initially booked were in separate buildings so not useful for the person accompanying the disabled person, even though both rooms booked at the same time. Thankfully the helpful reception clerk fixed this. Could be easily remedied at the time of booking to save faff. Ongoing upgrade work did not hamper and there was no noise during our stay.

We booked Premier Inn as you know what to expect. Our room was clean, comfortable and the air conditioning was welcome in the few days of extreme heat. On our first evening, we ate in ‘ The Social’, the in-house restaurant which had a basic menu but we were able to find something to our liking. Breakfast was adequate with a continental or cooked selection although, personally, we found the quality of the continental items to be not very good. On Saturday, the breakfast was very busy with new arrivals and here there was a shortage of staff. 2 ladies worked hard clearing tables with one of them covering reception at the same time so a lot of running around for them but done in a cheerful way. The continental breakfast selection briefly ran out but was restocked as soon as possible. All the staff were hard working and thank you to Evangelie and Jessica who looked after us on our first night and also Vicky who spent some time with us advising where to visit in Salisbury. Although this branch is on the outskirts of Salisbury, there is a park and ride close by which we made use of during the day. In the evening we drove into town and parked in a multi storey which was free after 6pm. If we visit Salisbury again we will use this branch of Premier Inn.

Great new restaurant on the site! Good food, and a good room as per the usual specification! Very happy with my stay in July!

The rooms have no Air Conditioning and the windows can only open a minimum so the room gets very hot and don't cool down making it unpleasant. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean and had what you expect from. A Prwmier inn.
