Very convenient location but the restaurant next to the hotel is certainly not up to the standard expected. Fortunately the hotel is near to the Centre of Salisbury and you can easily find a good restaurant for dinner there

The hotel is as advertised and is always a very good stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are ok but some showing their age. The new restaurant is a considerable improvement on the previous. Breakfast today was non existent, starting at 0630, I arrived just after 0700 to 3 mushrooms and no chef! You have 1 job! Extremely disappointed.

I stayed for 2 nights at Bishopdown in Salisbury, Absolutely amazing, friendly staff and value for money. The staff are very nice and the customer service is amazing. Comfy beds, very clean all the staff are very talkative. The beds really comfy just the right Firmness, very clean rooms and as always ample parking. And not to far from all the local shops. Cannot fault what so ever. 100% satisfied will stay there again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stay on the 21st December 2024. The room smelt and had water stains on the wall. Went for something to eat and the place were we had to eat was like a back room. Order some food which was overdone and very basic. Asked were the toilets were and advised to use the toilet in my room.

Stayed with friends as cycling the Wessex Classic the next day. Could keep bike safe in my room. Excellent value stay. Hotel easy to access with plenty of parking. Reasonable sized restaurant and communal area with a bar. Various seats available. Had breakfast which was very good quality especially the porridge and the cooked breakfast.

I've given this Premier Inn a generous 3. Starting with the smell, I knew as soon as I entered that this wasn't going to be a great hotel. It had the smell of other tired hotels in the chain I've stayed at. Neither of the self-check in machines was working (but that's the norm I find - do they ever work anywhere?). One of the vending machines had an 'Out of Order' sign on it. My room was clean but tired. I made the mistake of buying the meal deal but on seeing the menu in the in-house restaurant branded as 'The Social', immediately regretted not having my evening meal in Salisbury itself. No draft beers & someone who ordered a burger was told they'd run out of buns!! After waiting ages for my starter to arrive the waiter came up to me & asked me which starter I'd ordered. The breakfast next morning could have been warmer but maybe by then I was being a bit picky. On a positive note, the location was good, car parking was free & plentiful, the room was clean, the telly had the sleep timer functionality working & the shower was hot & powerful. I normally give reviews saying the staff made up for the deficiencies of everything else but on this occasion I don't think I can. Maybe I've been spoilt lately after a few nights at Swindon Central hotel which I absolutely loved! Sorry Salisbury North Bishopdown.

Only stayed one night stay with family. Booked 2 rooms. Ample parking. Easy and quick check in, clean and tidy room, well equipped and everything worked . Good night’s sleep, peaceful and quiet. Great breakfast . Friendly staff. Really good value

Tired hotel, not up to the usual PremierInn standards. I’ve had a far nicer experience at other places in the chain, this one seems to have been forgotten about. It wasn’t even that cheap when it come to PremierInn. The room smelled of air freshener. Milk curdled (3 times!!) when making tea in room. Tatty room and fittings Poor restaurant management - we, a family of 4, were refused breakfast because we had not pre-booked! Unbelievable.
