Days Inn by Wyndham Salem, Illinois

I wanted to shoutout the staff for being so awesome! The housekeeper found my pants that I left in my room about 3 min after I checked out. Looks like my room was next and then called down to the front desk and had Jessica run out twice. One to find me and the second to hand me the pants. It was 60 degrees outside!! Also The rooms were clean and I’d come back for the service

I was worried about staying here, having read some of the reviews, but when I arrived I didn't experience any of those issues. The staff was nice, my room & the rest of the hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the air con & fridge worked great... I had no issues what so ever. I look forward to staying again.

It's clean and there's no bugs. It could use some updating, but it's a nice place. Front desk staff are amazing. I've been all over this country and had some amazing customer service, but these guys are over the top! Thank you so much for everything. I really had a great time.

Just stayed here few days ago and these people are truely amazing from the front desk people to the housekeepers this place over all is just great to stay. I have 2 children that are very loud kids and not once did the staff complain.the houskeeper were amazing, she did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and we did truely appreciate it i will stay here again in the future

This place is very good. Room was amazing. Large bathroom was very clean from the staff was very helpful. I would definitely come to this location and stay again. Thank you very much for making my day wonderful.

This is the worst motel I have stayed in since I was a poor college student over 40 years ago. To their credit, some rooms show signs of updates, but even our updated room had a significant problem: water dripping from the bathroom light fixture. That room was after our first room, which smelled like many years of old cigarette smoke, many minor holes in the walls, and a curtain liner full of holes from sun rot. I forget that some states allow smoking indoors! The staff were friendly and were willing to move us from the first room, but this hotel was not worth the "normal" price, much less the "eclipse" price. I am giving two "stars" because the heat, hot water, TV, and Internet worked and the bed was adequate.

There were cockroaches!! The entire experience was miserable. The carpet & comforter were disgusting. The property was run down. The staff were difficult to understand. Stayed here after a snowstorm. Everything else was booked.

the Jacuzzi was luke warm, called the office and they said they would send someone. After an hour we gave up they never showed up. The wallpaper was pealing of of the wall by the microwave. There was no carpet, so you constantly heard the people upstairs walking back around until after 2pm. The wall heater was falling off the wall. This is a horrible place DO NOT GO HERE..

Arrived here on night one only to have to switch rooms immediately because I found cockroaches. Had no problems with room two until I woke up and found a couple of bed bugs and to find that I had received a few bites. Brought a bed bug down to the front desk in a cup and asked to switch rooms and was told no rooms available. Went back to my room and came down about an hour later to ask the worker on the new shift to switch rooms and she switched me to a new room of a different layout which I was completely fine with. Had no problems until the next morning when I woke up to find a large cockroach.
