The Inn by Sea Island

The staff, accommodations, surroundings beyond exceeded our expectations. It was slightly more money than we intended on spending, but more than made up for it, such a wonderful value. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to this trip for a year, and after a brief hiatus only because we got engaged on this trip and now need to save for a wedding, we plan on making this a regular trip!

The staff was very professional and accomodating, process was easy, and room had emergency flashlights in case of power outage during hurricane Helene. I was especially appreciative of the buffet hostess who helped me find what I needed - for my low vision. The grounds are pretty and there are pathways to walk around that are very pleasant. I felt safe and secure and I would stay again, it was a positive hotel experience. A+++

This is truly a lovely hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last weekend for a family wedding. The happy hour is the best deal on the island and Niles the bartender makes great drinks. They made use feel like family from the warm welcome to the continental breakfast. We also enjoyed the TopGolf area in the bar. It was all a real treat! We will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it to others.

This is our third time at the Inn and we will be back! All of the employees are very friendly. They seem very close knit and have pride in their work. They truly work as a family and have the guest’s experience at the top of their priorities. The breakfast ladies take pride in their work and enjoy have conversations with their guests.

Venue is dated, staff was unfriendly (like they dreaded being there), breakfast was not worth the effort (scrambled eggs didn't even look like eggs), apparent cost savings on bathroom products by having one product for hair and body wash, location is remote to everything and the design with an open courtyard sounds good but if your room is near there, you can hear every conversation.

Very nice, clean hotel with nice amenities and near everything you may want to do - shopping, eating, sightseeing, etc. If you play golf, which I don't, it's also a great destination. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Looks as great as pictures, nicely decorated and very clean. Everything about it is easy-- parking, check-in, and morning breakfast. We actually went 25 minutes out of our way to stay here based on prior positive experience...and we again had a fantastic stay. The front desk staff truly went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, not only sharing where the games were located but also assisting us in moving chairs so we could comfortably play at the table. They even recommended a nearby store where we could find some of the puzzles we enjoyed. What really impressed me was when they took the initiative to clear our ice cream bowls while we were still in the middle of our game. In the morning, we went to breakfast at peak time, and so several of the breakfast items quickly ran out- the staff was quick to offer to go get us the items from the kitchen -- and to make sure that we got the items we wanted when they returned to restock. It's these thoughtful touches that made our stay so memorable. Highly recommend!"

We drove up from Jacksonville for Labor Day weekend with 2 children ages 2 &6, loved the inn breakfast was delicious.

Staff all around was amazing and wedding was gorgeous on the island. I like highly recommended staying!
