Coconut Inn Pass-a-Grille Beach

My wife, myself and our Havapoo (Finley) puppy spent two wonderful night at this cozy, quaint inn. As others have mentioned, the area took a huge hit during the last two hurricanes. The St. Pete Beach community are very proud people and are working extremely hard to bring this beautiful ‘old Florida’ town back to its original glory. Our room at the Coconut Inn was the King Studio (room 7) located on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and well appointed and included everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was older and small but it worked for us. Maggie and Team were super fast at answering our inquiries and provided paramount service during our visit. We had a terrace with two lounge chairs and a small bistro table and chairs. As advertised, the inn provided brand new beach items (chairs, cart, umbrellas, balls, and fishing gear and bikes). We brought our own but certainly would have appreciated using these items if we didn’t. The beautiful beach was truly only a few steps away. So handy! There was construction going on the first day we were there so we avoided going to the pool that day. The second day was quiet (no construction) so we spend an enjoyable afternoon at the pool. One of the highlights for us staying at the Coconut Inn was meeting and chatting with the other wonderful guests during our short stay. Finley made some good friends and managed to score some treats (bacon) from our neighbours. LOL. Overall we had a great (short) time at this charming inn and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another visit.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY! Love this place Clean friendly quiet nice kitchenette comfortable beds nice pool in the center And the beach is just steps away. What more can you ask for. I would highly recommend this place. Has an old world charm with all the modern conveniences. Great restaurants also.

We love the Coconut Inn! We first stayed at the Coconut Inn last year when in Pass-a-Grille for a wedding, we enjoyed ourselves so much we had to come back! We were so happy to see that the inn survived the hurricanes. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Right across the street from the beach, great pool to hang out in and in walking distance to all the restaurants in Pass-a-Grille. Maggie and her team are super friendly, flexible and run a great inn. We'll be back again next year!

Quintessential a beach accommodation .Love the kitchenette . The pool was small but clean and convenient. It is a small Inn so it is intimate w other guest. Staff are responsive. Sunsets are incredible.I am definitely going back next year.

Two of us stayed in the Kings Suite for a full week. Bottom line, we would highly recommend the Coconut Inn. Check in was super easy, and the entire staff was exceptionally accommodating, and easy to contact. Our room was pool side, yet very private. The pool was beautifully maintained, and a very comfortable temperature. The AC units did an excellent job, kitchenette was all new, and bed very comfortable. There is a well marked parking area on site, and an attractive garden/courtyard with a large outdoor grill. The Inn is very close to the beach, and provides beach chairs which we used everyday, umbrellas and even wagons to bring all your things to the beach. After seeing pictures of the damage left by the hurricanes that hit Pass-a-Grille last year, I think its amazing that the Inn could open for business so soon. We are grateful that Maggie and the team persevered to make it happen. For us the Coconut Inn provided the quintessential Pass-a-Grille experience.

This is the best place we have ever stayed. It is absolutely perfect, it truly feels like home and I wish this was the standard all hotels strived to be like. Here are the main positives: - literally a 1 min walk to the beach - parking!!!! - free beach chairs/umbrellas/coolers to use - a spot to sit outside and have a snack and drinks - a pool that you really seem to get to yourself most days - clean!!!!! - friendliest staff (plus a cat!) - water pressure in the shower is outstanding - towels are big and plush - AC does its job and then some - full sized fridge and freezer plus little kitchen area to use - comfy bed and pillows and blankie - bright rooms with lots of windows Here are things I think could be improved IF I REALLY REALLY GOT NIT PICKY: - wine glasses in the room are plastic - pool is super warm (the sun really heats that bad boy up) - toilet paper quality Thank you for the best stay. We truly can't wait to come back and can't recommend this place enough. ＜3
