Located in St. Moritz Bad, only a few steps away from the lake, the nonsmoking Hotel Sonne St. Moritz is a 3 star superior property and offers views of Piz Nair and the surrounding mountains. Free WiFi is provided. The artificial ice rink, the riding stable, the miniature golf course, the cable car (Signalbahn), and the health spa are only a short walk away.
The train station is 1.2 mi away and can easily be reached by bus line 3 that stops directly in front of the hotel. The city center is 0.6 mi away. Lake St. Moritz with its sailing school and row boats, the forest with its extensive walking trails, and the cross-country ski runs are also in the immediate vicinity.
The Engadin Bus stops right at the hotel's doorstep. Hotel Sonne offers rooms in the main building and in the Casa del Sole next door. The reception and the restaurant are in the main building.

Yesterday I was at the restaurant. They didn't have many options, just salads and pizza (very good, actually). The service from the two girls was incredible, especially Adriana. She ran to all the tables, doing an excellent job, excellent place to spend a pleasant day.

After a nightmare travel leading my school’s ski trip we were stranded in St Mortiz. We were found this hotel as an emergency and I am so glad we did! With next to no notice the hotel staff had rooms and dinner for 47 students and staff! The staff were so friendly and accommodating that what started as a nightmare turned into a great, unexpected, unplanned mini break! I can not thank the hotel staff enough for being so helpful!

On a school trip to Italy, 41 pupils, 6 staff, 1 rep, 2 coach drivers. At 6pm last night it became apparent that, due to the weather, we were not going to be able to go any further than St Moritz. After the ski company contacting various hotels, this hotel was happy to take us all. When we finally arrived fairly late they had hot food ready for us all and could not do enough for us to help what was a horrible situation. Into today we tried our onward journey but have been unsuccessful. Once again the hotel have stepped in, reissued rooms to everyone, and had hot lunch waiting for our return. The staff are amazing and have been so helpful and supportive during a very difficult time. Would highly recommend this hotel. The food, rooms, service are all 5 star and above.

Breakfast selection is disappointing - bring your own brown sauce....and a toaster if you can! Whilst hard boiled eggs are readily available, 'warm' eggs (scrambled or fried) and bacon (3 half rashers) ARE available on request, though it seems to be a best kept secret - and incurs an excessive daily surcharge.

The staff make the stay pleasant, rooms are clean and the restaurant is simply great food with lots of choices. Closely located to nearby sports and wellbeing outlets. Parking has electric charging facility (pay). Walk around the lake is 5’ away

I certainly recommend it. Clean with basic sericea and very kind staff. basic but complete breakfast. we were in the annexe and getting dressed for breakfast was the only problem. The journey to the center is still easy and healthy

Only stayed one night but thought it was really good. Our room was basic but clean and bed comfy. Absolutely loved the restaurant and the food was amazing! Location was next to the lake and a 15 minute walk into the centre. Compared to other hotels in St Moritz I think the cost was not too bad. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is exceptionally good! We loved our stay here, from the check in to check out it was easy and friendly. We stayed in an incredible room on one of the top floors, the balcony was huge and the room and bathroom were just as spacious. It was immaculately clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The room was really quiet and we had the best night sleep. We ate dinner there and it was really good! I loved the gf gnocchi and my partner had veal and was just as good! The aperol spritz are great too. Breakfast was huge and the service in the restaurant is really lovely. Can't recommend this hotel enough, its easy to get to, jump on bus at the train station and in 8 minutes you are across the road from the hotel. The lake near the hotel is a really nice spot at sunset. Definitely a wonderful stay, would happily return!

This was a nice stay, and relatively affordable based on other options in St. Moritz. The hotel gave us passes to use the busses which made skiing easy and accessible. The hotel also gave us a pass to use the local swimming pool which we didn't have a chance to do unfortunately. The beds were very comfy. Bathroom was a little small and shower flooded the bathroom. Service was nice, we also ate at the restaurant twice which we enjoyed.
