The beautiful building retains its authentic finery dating back to the 18th century. Wood panelling 18th century allegorical paintings a monumental richly adorned oak staircase and open fireplaces whisk guests away to a setting reminiscent of a lavish era. The spacious light-filled rooms with their waxed parquet floors are perfect for a romantic stay. Lovely stay at Chateau Colombier. Super-friendly staff, large, well-appointed rooms, good on-premises dining room for breakfast and dinner and beautiful grounds. Tranquil, relaxed and historic. We stayed two nights but would've happily extended.

Great staff. Great food. Lovely stay. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Ideal location for exploring the Brittany coast of just a stop off when heading south.

Enchanting! We enjoyed an excellent holiday at this beautiful property. From the moment we drove up the driveway, to the personal welcome, to the beautiful room with endless complimentary refreshments, to the superb dinner, the extensive breakfast, the quality bedding and bathroom products, the wonderful and happy staff. We could not fault one moment of our stay at this beautiful chateau. Every element had been thought through and catered for, the emphasis being on the comfort and enjoyment of the guests. A very deserved 4 * rating. Thank you Sebastian and Nicolas

Beautiful old chateau in extensive well maintained grounds. Professionally run by welcoming English speaking staff. Furnished with antiques. Huge bedroom with complimentary refreshments in the fridge and upmarket bathroom toiletries. Although a self service buffet, the best hotel breakfast we have ever had in France. Only 15 minutes from ferry terminal, but access is via some bumpy potholed roads and you will need your satnav! Fantastic value for money on a Travelzoo deal.

A magical oasis of peace, finally a place we could relax fully and be at ease in our room, the beautiful gardens or spoiled with the delicious menu. Breakfast had a focus on local products, we loved it and tried a different marmelade every morning. We were surrounded by nature and the sound of horses, so peaceful. The staff was amazing and the professionalism above everything. The stay was absolutely perfect, thank you!!

We spent a few days during our trip in Brittany. The stay was perfect. Everything at the château is perfect—the location, the hospitality, the kindness, and the attention to the guests. I can say that I have found the place of my heart. What matters to me are also the feelings: at the château, I felt at home, pampered. The entire staff is lovely, and Monsieur Nicolas is truly a perfect host.

Loved staying here, just three nights but a really good break, excellent breakfasts, high quality dinner (first night), beautiful grounds, room comfortable and functional. Well placed for Saint Malo and favourite trip was day out to St Lunaire. Thank you to great team.

You do not want to miss this place! It is located in the countryside and a short 10 minute drive into San Malo. The staff, Nicholas and Sebastian, were very friendly and helpful in making recommendations for seeing the area. The Chateau is elegant and stately. It is great for relaxing or just exploring the gardens. And the breakfast prepared by Nicholas’ wife was the best in France! And as an added bonus it has an electric car charging station on the property.
