Hotel De Normandie

The hotel has an excellent location (1 minute from the sea). There are good £15 breakfasts and evening dinners with a quiet large menu for hotel restaurants.

It is so nice and beautiful, I love the hotel very much, the staffs are friendly, I hope I would be able to stay there again!

staffs are very helpful and able to attent to our needs.. they assisted us with big smiles and delivered such a professional way of services.

很不錯的居住體驗，雖然位置離市中心有一點遠，但是價格也對應實惠點，而且設施，環境，服務都不錯，旁邊有超市，路對面就是大海，挺安靜的。還自帶一個bar。推薦～

地理位置好，近市中心，房間也大，衞生不錯，不足的是我住的一層衞生間窗户打不開，無法透氣。

Hotel Normandie was located nicely by the beach & was close to amenities & a short walk to the town centre. Room was spacious but slightly dated, the windows of the room looked out on to stairwell & other windows, so had no natural light or air, we stayed when it was hot so the this made the room uncomfortably hot. The bathrooms was very small with a small shower, however was powerful & always had hot water, window again was a problem as opened out into that stairwell, its was close by someone passing by, member of staff whilst I was in the shower, so the lack of privacy was uncomfortable. The restaurant & bar was lovely & the food was great. Had a balcony out front which lovely to enjoy the hot weather & watch the world go by. Staff friendly & helpful. All in a lovely stay but rooms could do with a little bit of TLC

On arrival hotel looks clean & smart. Staff were professionally polite. Any other time they look through you. Once I got to my room. I immediately noticed the change from downstairs. I only booked for myself. But was surprised it contained only a single bed. Most hotels scrapped that years ago. Being a bigger guy this wasn't great for me also. Room was tiny but had decent wardrobe with safe inside & suitcase stand (not that there was any room to bring it out) second thing to suddenly hit me was the absolute humidity in the room. 24/7 my cooler was on. I don't know where that heat was coming from but it certainly wasn't from the weather. After 2 restless nights in a small bed & clothes sticking to me from heat. It was starting to really get to me. Thankfully I was out mostly in the day sightseeing. But the minute you open your room again there it is. The heat!!. Shower had awful water pressure. Was like a watering can so took me longer than normal to shower. Sink same. Trickled out. I arrived in the evening & was quite tired & hungary. Made the mistake of going to the restaurant for food. The a la carte menu looked OK. You help yourself & was a decent choice there. But boy had I wished I had got my moneys worth. £25 was the damage for 1 small plate & a coffee. Had I have known I would have had a lot more than I did. Bar equally expensive. I'm not a drinker but did have a lager shandy -Which was more like watered lager. £5.50 for that! So glad I'm not a drinker much. Latte I ordered was luke warm & half filled (£4). I stopped having food & drinks after 2nd day. Just breakfast which was included in my room. Basically OK for 2 nights. But certainly wouldn't stay a week there again. Very nice from outside & reception ,bar area etc. But completely different once you hit you room & start to use the facilities. Can't comment on pool area. As didn't use. Sadly wouldn't return.

Fantastic friendly hotel with great food and attentive staff. Great location with beach across the road and regular bus into town. Swimming pool and jacuzzi available. If you wanted you needn't leave the immediate area as plenty to do nearby. Stayed here a few times now. Only gets better.

Lovely, clean hotel and situated across the road from the beach. Staff are very friendly/helpful and the food we ordered was really good. The buffet menu was nice, only criticism would be the buffet could have been replenished more as it was starting to go dry. Breakfast selection was great and always hot. Would stay here again, no question.
