Park View Hotel and Guest House

I stayed at the Park View Hotel and Guest House, Thatto Heath, on Saturday, 22nd June 2024. This is a self-service accommodation with no reception or staff available on-site. The room was dreary and tired, with poor quality décor and bits scattered on the floor. Upon returning at night, I discovered that the bathroom light did not work. The room was located near a main door, meaning residents walked past my window frequently. It was impossible to sleep due to the noise of residents coming in and out through the squeaky main door throughout the early hours of the morning. Additionally, I was bitten during the night. There is a self-checkout system with a box on the wall outside the room. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my handbag in the room with my phone and money when I was checking out. With no staff on-site to assist, I hung around the hotel for approximately 45 minutes before I found a jogger who kindly helped by phoning the number on the hotel door. A member of staff arrived about 10 minutes later and unlocked the room so I could retrieve my belongings. Overall, the room was not worth the price I paid. Without a doubt, this has been my worst hotel experience to date, and I cannot recommend this establishment at all.

My friend, son, and I stayed here at the beginning of the month. When you arrive, you call a number, and a friendly lady helps us access the property via the key safe. We easily found our room. It was clean and tidy, I couldn't find the towels, but the nice lady advised us on where we go to get some. The room was basic, but it was just what we needed. I had a good night's sleep and loved the tea and coffee facilities to make a drink. I would definitely stay here again. No breakfast, but that's OK as there are plenty of food places nearby

Really non existent place. Booked the hotel online . Got there and couldn’t get in for 3 hours because the door was locked and the number they popped out for customers to call was unreachable. I was really pained cos I had to start looking for another hotel to sleep in that night.
