Hotel management, specifically Desmond, is unprofessional, rude, and unintelligent. We were disturbed at 1 am by a phone call from the desk. The caller, later identified as Desmond, questioned who assigned us the room, what company we were with, and asked if we could move rooms. When my husband went down to the front desk, Desmond indicated that he was calling the room to see if the room was occupied. Then, he indicated we were supposed to be assigned another room. Then he lied and said that he was asking the person in front of him at that time if they could move. However, this isn't a Hilton where you can choose your room assignment in advance, so he absolutely lied. The final insult was only offering a discount for our inconvenience. Never in all of my 20+ years of staying in hotels have I ever experienced such idiocy. Unfortunately,, after this being our hotel of choice when we've visited our mother for the last eight years, we will never stay here again.
