Hotel du Nord - Ville-Haute

This hotel is in the centre of St Flour, really well positioned. We stopped for a night on our way to Spain. You cannot drive to the hotel, so don’t follow the car's GPS all the way, but park up and find the hotel on foot. They have a nice garage that we came across by accident weaving around the tiny streets! It is round the back of the hotel, down a small alley to the side. The room was a pretty good size, and the bathroom had a tub, which was a very nice surprise. The decor was in good order in both bedroom and ensuite, and the bed was comfortable (standard foam pillows though!). The room has an old fashioned (heavy) key which is unusual nowadays! The hotel has a bar with a terrace on the street and we had a couple of beers there in the evening sun. All the restaurants in town are a short walk away. We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment. The welcome was pleasant, and all round I can recommend this as a good place to stay in St Flour.

Room small but well equipped and immaculate. Proprietor helpful and welcoming. Buffet breakfast with local produce excellent. Several good restaurants nearby. Conveniently situated for an overnight stop near autoroute.

C’est juste l’hôtel idéal. Emplacement, parking, accueil, propreté, confort, tout est parfait. Un minuscule bémol pour la taille de la salle d’eau. Pour compenser cette petite critique qui paraît presque méchante dans cet océan de sincères louanges, le petit déjeuner est parfait, avec de vrais croissants au beurre (et non pas les mini-croissants décongelés de chez Métro dorénavant omniprésents) et des produits locaux délicieux. Pour nous, et grâce à cet établissement, Saint Flour est au Coeur de la France !

Petit hôtel parfaitement bien situé dans Saint Flour. L’accueil est très sympathique. Les chambres sont confortables et très propres. Le petit déjeuner est varié et propose des produits de bonne qualité. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Séjour du 8 au 9 août 2021 Petit hôtel idéalement placé en ville haute près d'une place où le stationnement est gratuit. J'occupais une toute petite chambre à la décoration et au mobilier vieillots. La fenêtre donnant sur une petite ruelle, l'endroit est très calme. Literie correcte, connexion Wi-Fi de même. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et de qualité (pains, croissants, confitures,...) des fromages locaux et œufs frais sont à disposition. C'est recommandable pour un séjour à Saint-Flour.
