Don Tenorio Aparthotel

Room 301 is making a lot of noise, can hear it two floors lower. Rooms are spacious and good cleaning services, but walls are made of paper. Reception guy knocked on the door of 301 but then did nothing. Maybe I will ask for another room.

We wanted somewhere cheap for a short surfing trip and this place was spot on. It worked out at £15 per person per night, with a free breakfast. Yes the breakfast was basic, but cereal, fruit, toast, juice (squash sadly) and coffee was passable. Makes a good saving over the course of your stay. Big supermarket next door so saved a few quid by cooking in the apartment a couple of nights (electric hobs are old and take a long time to heat up) and also buying stuff to take for lunch at the beach surfing. (At the Italian cafe on the roundabout it was €16 for 2 sandwiches and 2 bottles of water!) The whole place is clean and well kept, but yes, outdated. It reminded me of hotels in the 80s, the staff are getting on a bit, but they were always polite. The rooms are huge but make a lot of noise due to their construction. We always use earplugs when sleeping away so unaffected by any noisey neighbours at night if there were any. Decent looking pool and quiet in the pool/garden area at night. We had a car, which I'd say you would need if you were staying here. It would be a drag walking to the beaches each day, especially if you've been surfing. If you're walking to the beaches, don't use the straight, busy main road out front, use the quiet roads (turn right out of the car park). There's a great Indian restaurant just around the corner called Holi Diwali, very good food (ignore snide reviews, portion sizes were huge). Overall we were happy with the place as we booked it on a budget basis...if you want a more expensive and up to date hotel book one of the ones on the sea front. The room smelled so much of humidity, the shower water was cold, the view (in the pictures is to the pool) is actually to some constructions, and they called me at 12:04 to let me know my time was up, literally 4 mins after 12 o’clock.

Imaginaos un hotel construido en los años 70 en el que siguen conservando el mismo mobiliario, sabanas, mantas....lo único que han actualizado y bien es el precio. 200€ POR UNA NOCHE !!!!! UN AUTÉNTICO ATRACO. No es dejéis engañar por la foto de la piscina....es lo único medianamente aceptable.

Het hotel is in Sagres makkelijk te vinden. In de buurt supermarkt en eetgelegenheid. Kamers iets gedateerd met klein TV-tje. Ontbijt is eenvoudig maar voldoende. Wel heerlijk buiten eten, binnen kan ook. Bij de receptie zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam geholpen. De wifi werkt. Genoeg parkeer plaatsen. Lopend naar haven en centrum is goed te doen.

Het ontvangst was heel goed en ze waren heel vriendelijk. Spraken heel goed Engels. De kamer is ruim maar heel oud en dringend aan vernieuwing toe. We hadden wel een rustige kamer op de benedenverdieping en op het eind van een gang. Iets te weinig stopcontacten aan de bedden. Hadden ook 2 kleine bedjes i.p.v. 1 groot. Wat niet zo praktisch is. Ontbijt was niet zo lekker en weinig keuze. Brood veel te hard. Hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Goed voor 1 nacht.
