Home2 Suites by Hilton Sacramento at Csus

Another 2 week trip for work brought me to this location and the first time here. Home2 is often one of my favorite hotels and this one did not disappoint either. Conveniently located about 15 minutes to anywhere you want to go it seemed. There is a Target right around the corner for ease of finding groceries, or a Trader Joe's around the other way. A lot of activity happens right across from this hotel as it overlooks a public bus stop, but it was nothing that truly affected the stay. Parking availability near the entrance is not abundant, though there is more around the back and opposite side. Staff were not overly friendly, however I had no issues either, so standard enough customer service. Coffee was hot every morning and available early after using the gym at 5:00 am. The gym is 24 hours which is nice; there is a laundry room off of the gym with plenty of machines (coin operated) and a change machine which you don't always see. Breakfast was the standard Home2 offering and nothing worth much mentioning. There is an outdoor pool, though it was too cold to use at this time. The room was clean and spacious and the kitchen was stocked with enough dishes/utensils for use. I have no complaints and would choose this hotel again when I return to the area.

I booked this hotel for a group of young, scholarship winners traveling to Sacramento for meetings and it was a great experience! The rooms were clean and MASSIVE! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the sales staff, in particular, were accommodating, patient with my many requests and changes, and just lovely to work with. Will definitely be back next time we're in Sacto!

Frank makes the stay here perfect! He has welcomed us by name at the hotel next door and now here for two years and always has a smile on his face! He pays attention to all the details for visitors to make sure their stays are flawless. The hotel itself has a fantastic security guard who is friendly and on site to keep an eye on the parking area and the entrance. The parking is well lit, the rooms are immaculate and cozy, there are snacks and items in the little shop by the front desk if you need anything, and the hotel is new and clean and quiet. The location is great to visit your students at CSUS or just for a nice place to stay to enjoy Sacramento. I won’t stay anywhere else!
