Alpinresort ValSaa - Sport & Spa

Just returned from a week skiing. Our first time in Saalbach and we chose the AlpinSport for a few reasons - the reviews, the all inclusive package and the look and feel of the hotel. We were not disappointed in any way. Our journey was delayed due to baggage issues at the airport so we arrived at the hotel at 9pm - despite this the hotel kept the restaurant open for us and we had a wonderful evening meal. It became clear from the outset that the attitude of the employees was to make sure that any request could be met with a positive response - nothing seemed too much for them. Any small issues were addressed immediately and that made the experience wonderful for our stay. (For example a random power outage left myself and my daughter stuck in an elevator but an engineer was onsite and we were rescued in under 20 minutes). The hotel facilities are top level - the spa and pool were wonderful, they have installed an amazing ski and boot room with personalised lockers, heated boot hangers, power in each locker for rechargeable devices like helmet speakers etc. The food was also really top level and the wine and cocktails were served with speed and Michael and Thomas behind the bar need a special recommendation. All round an amazing time and i have already booked to return next year

Everything was great from the team working in the hotel, the rooms, the food, the facilities and the amazing rates for ski school and ski equipment. Its definitely a place to choose if u are looking for a ski trip where you dont need to worry about where to spend your time after skiing and where to eat good food

Great hotel, food superb, staff friendly, clean and great spa area. A choice of pillows! So rare in Austria where the big soft pillow is usually the norm. Free Joker card giving access to lifts and buses. Central position. Hotel is all inclusive, good lunch options and the wine, unlike an 'all inclusive' on the Med, was really good quality from real bottles and didn't taste oflike water!!

We had a lovely 4 nights stay at this hotel . Food was excellent , service second to none . Bar staff super friendly and remembered what drinks you liked each evening . Great location to both gondolas. We had a room with whirlpool bath , perfect after a days hiking . Spa was lovely and clean as was the pool. Absolutely no complaints , can’t wait to try for skiing .

Very glad we picked the Alpinresort as the fantastic quality of the hotel somewhat offset the rather average skiing due to the poor snow conditions in Saalbach when we visited. The hotel has a great location and superb facilities, with a lovely pool and spa area and the most impressive ski room we have seen. Although we have visited a number of ski resorts throughout Austria this was the first all-inclusive skiing hotel we have stayed at and the quality of the food and drink was outstanding, with excellet service. If we were ever to go back to Saalbach I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again and would certainly recommend it to others. I can fully understand why so many people return here.

Having visited last year, we decided to return this year. So glad we did! We were warmly welcomed back by all the staff (including Lucy!). The hotel is lovely; we really liked the renovated lounge and lunch area - so much more spacious. Our room, a Junior Suite, was great - modern, stylish and plenty of space with lovely views. All meals were delicious and tasty, with excellent wines offered. We enjoyed our evening drinks and choice of cocktails at the bar, sitting outside whenever possible. The location of the hotel is superb - so many lovely walks in the area with fabulous views. But, of course, a hotel's heart is its staff and all the staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful - thank you! Will we return to Alpinresort ValSaa? Absolutely!
