This is my second visit to this hotel. Overall it is an excellent choice for skiing in Saalbach. The rooms are large, comfortable, with typical Austrian twin (really double) beds. There is a decent seating area and large balcony. The bash rooms are well appointed. The food in the dining room is of a very high standard and there is an extensive salad buffet every night in addition to three courses (starter, main, desert). There is usually a choice of three for the main course and if nothing suits they are willing to go the extra mile and make something specially for you. The hotel is all inclusive so basic drinks at the bar and in the restaurant are included. The choice of wine is extensive, although perhaps a little basic. More sophisticated wines are available at a cost. The boot room in this hotel is the best and most spacious I have ever seen. The lockers are massive with heated boot and glove racks. There is a dedicated lift up from the boot room to the ground floor which is a welcome recent addition. The walk to the nearest lift is 5minutes and there is a shuttle bus leaving every ten minutes to the other two lifts. There is a ski shop opposite the hotel which gives a discount to hotel guests and is competitively priced. The spa facilities are excellent. There is an outdoor heated 25m pool, which is accessed from a small indoor plunge pool which has water jets etc. there are hot tubs outside (but a cold dash to reach them). The adult only spa area has two sauna and a steam room, with ice bath for the hardy.

Excellent staff across all aspects of the hotel. Mike Thomas Manager was exceptional. Food was superb. Everybody was very accommodating, helpful and nothing ever presented a problem. Hotel facilities was fantastic. We look forward to returning!

Everything was simply done very very well. All the staff were professional yet friendly and couldn’t do enough. The room was clean and modern. The food was of excellent quality and varied as was the wine offering. The bar was well stocked and had a great ambiance. The spa was clean, well maintained and a welcome visit after a day skiing. A nice touch was the courtesy shuttle to the main ski lifts. Only very minor feedback is that the Wi-Fi speed was poor. I’ve been skiing for 40 years and this hotel experience is top of the list. Will be back.

We had a wonderful stay over the Christmas and the New Year. Everything was perfect, friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, caring waiter and excellent cuisine. Good selection of wines. Spacious wellness area, nice pools. Handful ski lockers in the basement. Walking distance to the ski lifts and shuttle service in the morning. We will definitely return. The only deficiency is just one elevator servicing the main building which may be very busy in the peak hours and only one bathroom for the entire groundfloor including the restaurant, bar and the lobby area.

Just returned from a week skiing. Our first time in Saalbach and we chose the AlpinSport for a few reasons - the reviews, the all inclusive package and the look and feel of the hotel. We were not disappointed in any way. Our journey was delayed due to baggage issues at the airport so we arrived at the hotel at 9pm - despite this the hotel kept the restaurant open for us and we had a wonderful evening meal. It became clear from the outset that the attitude of the employees was to make sure that any request could be met with a positive response - nothing seemed too much for them. Any small issues were addressed immediately and that made the experience wonderful for our stay. (For example a random power outage left myself and my daughter stuck in an elevator but an engineer was onsite and we were rescued in under 20 minutes). The hotel facilities are top level - the spa and pool were wonderful, they have installed an amazing ski and boot room with personalised lockers, heated boot hangers, power in each locker for rechargeable devices like helmet speakers etc. The food was also really top level and the wine and cocktails were served with speed and Michael and Thomas behind the bar need a special recommendation. All round an amazing time and i have already booked to return next year
