Hipotels Coma Gran

We have just returned from our stay in Hipotels Coma Gran and, for the first time in my life, I am already planning a return trip next year. The hotel is fantastic. It is so well maintained by an army of staff- cleaners, gardeners, maintenance. The room was spotless, the hotel and pool area were spotless and scrubbed daily. Other reviews mentioned the noise from local bars. There was definitely noise but we didn’t find it over the top and it finished around 11pm. We travelled with an 18 month old and it didn’t affect his sleep. The beds were comfy and the travel cot provided had a thick, comfortable mattress. The animations team were brilliant, they entertained day and night. Always smiling, always helpful. Genuinely lovely to all the kids. The daily Mini Disco was a big hit! The food offering was decent, good by all inclusive standards. We ate in some nights and out others. Some lovely restaurants locally. The pool area was fabulous. A super kids pool with slide and a separate splash pad. Both are turned off a couple of times each day, so if your child isn’t a fan of the spray/splash, they still have plenty of time to enjoy the slides. The main pool isn’t too deep either. Lifeguards seemed very vigilant. We didn’t find any issues with sunbed wars. Some days we went to the pool when it opened and other days after lunchtime and we always found 3 beds together. There is lots on offer on your doorstep…shops, pubs l, restaurants, a carrefour supermarket, car and bike hire etc. the safari park and dino land are close by. The one issue we had was that the main attractions on the Island were in palma, which was an hour away. Will be easier next year when baby is a bit older. The shining stars of Hipotel are, without a doubt, the staff. They couldn’t do enough to help you. Always smiling, friendly, helpful. All well trained in their roles. Attentive and caring. We look forward to a return trip next year!

We stayed in the Coma Gran from 7th June for 10 days,we were self catering in a 6th floor one bedroom flat which had everything you could want as far as utensils. The room overlooked the pool which is always nice. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning service was top class. Staff at reception were always really helpful and pleasant to deal with. The hotel is very well placed for shops and bars and eating places,indeed we had a Spar next door which we used quite a lot because of its location. Big thanks to Hipotel Coma Gran for a really enjoyable stay in a lovely clean hotel.

We have just returned from a brilliant week at Coma Gran, the hotel is perfect for families! The pool areas are brilliant for small children and felt very safe, the lifeguards were very attentive. never struggled to get a sunbed either! The food was great, lots of choice even for fussy children, we really enjoyed the pool bar food for a quick lunch, the baguettes were great! All the staff were lovely, the bar staff work insanely hard, rooms were big and clean, beds comfy! Sa Coma itself is lovely, busy enough to not be bored but quiets down late at night. Honestly a perfect family holiday, we'll definitely return!

We stayed here for a week with our 3 year old daughter. We loved every minute! Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good service and facilities. Opted for breakfast only as there are plenty of places to eat locally. Breakfast was of a high standard. Pool area is great for kids / families. We felt really safe, welcome and at ease. Only negative was that the rooms were noisy - could hear neighbouring apartments and during breakfast chairs dragging on the floor. It wouldn’t put us off staying here again though. It’s a great hotel.

Self catering visit in May 2025. Staff at reception were lovely, very helpful and polite. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Room was spacious, balcony was large and beds were really comfortable with extra sheets/pillows provided. Drinks at the bar were good and a reasonable price. As we were self catering we didn’t eat at the hotel but the food we saw looked nice. The pool was brilliant - loads of sunbeds available which isn’t always the case when you go to a larger hotel! They had a kids pool and play areas too. Hotel was in a great location, 2 minute walk from Sa Coma beach with lots of shops, bars etc around. Couldn’t fault this hotel and would visit again.

Lovely clean hotel, close to all facilities, beach, bars and restaurants etc, easily accessible for disabilities. Didn't use the restaurant as we went self catering, fridge and cooking facilities including microwave etc. plenty of blankets and pillows in room and also loads of cost hangers. Hairdryer in bathroom and shower and bath both worked lovely with some toiletries included too. Lovely balcony and views to both beach and pool. Surprise birthday gift left in room on my birthday from hotel!!! All in all a lovely hotel, hundreds of sunbeds and always plenty to choose from. We may have paid for some upgrades of meals but without knowing what was being served we didn't bother. Bar staff on an evening are lovely, friendly and efficient. Cleaners came every day except one and they tell U their day off, all areas really clean and tidy, very friendly staff. Would definitely go again, great location and lovely hotel.
