Château Canet

We’ve contacted Château Canet two years before our wedding and planned a little trip to the South of France to visit them. The contact via mail was already so easy, friendly and genuine. During our trip we would visit 4 venues and we scheduled Château Canet as the first one, as it was our favourite based on the pictures, reviews and videos. As soon as we drove on the driveway and saw the château through the trees, we instantly got a magical and fairytale feeling. During the first day and evening we both got the same feeling and said to each other: ‘this is the place, right!?’. We called the other venues, excused us, cancelled the visits and secured our wedding weekend date at Château Canet. The planning of the weekend went really well as they have a specific and organized way of working which shows all the details/aspects that need to be taken care of by them or by us, and those that need further discussion. This really helped planning everything. A year before the wedding they also planned a little food menu tasting at the château together with another couple that would get married there. This was fun! In the months prior to our wedding Anna and Victoria really intensely thought along to realize our dream wedding. During our wedding weekend, nothing was too much to ask. Anna and Victoria took care of everything and were so friendly for us and our guests. Everybody felt so welcome and loved. They took care of all the coordination (also with suppliers) during the festivities and made sure that everything and everyone was at the right place at the right time. Château Canet became our happy place which we will keep visiting since it feels like coming home. We would highly recommend Château Canet!

The location was superb, the highly competent staff led by the owners were excellent, the food was wonderful and the home produced wines were brilliant. I doubt I have ever seen a happier day, and the accommodation and facilities are of the highest order. A magical weekend laid on by fantastic people. 10/10 without shadow of a doubt.

I hosted a small group of 14 Canadians to Chateau Canet. We created many wonderful memories. With Victoria’s help we had 4 glorious days at the winery and villages nearby. I highly recommend a stay here. And the wine is amazing!! Thank you!!!

What an amazing stay we had at Chateau Canet. Victoria helped our group of 7 plan every detail of our 4 day/night stay. The cottages are cozy, clean and very comfortable. Victoria organized all the details, from our transportation, cooking class, site seeing vineyard tours, amazing lunches and dinners. Our final dinner was at the Chateau with a Michelin Star chef they had hired to cook for us. This was my 2nd time, and my friends first visit. We all had a wonderful time. The wine at Chateau Canet is also delicious, which was an added bonus. Truly a lovely place for so many reasons. Victoria and Floris are such amazing hosts. I felt like I was "coming home" at the end of each day of site seeing and adventure. I will return, and I highly recommend a visit here to all interested in this beautiful part of France.

This was an amazing place. We stayed there for Stephen and Kathy Picton's wedding. The place is magical. They cater to all your wants and needs. The grounds are beautiful with vineyards all around. There is a beautiful pool to cool off. It is private and secluded. The rooms are very nice snf hsve s little kitchen in the room we were in. The owners were wonderful and were truly there to make our stay wonderful.

If you're looking for a wedding venue in the south of France, congratulations, you've found it. The venue is beautiful, the wine is fantastic, and Victoria and her team are absolute legends. We recently had our wedding here and every single one of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. Obviously the location and the weather played a huge part in their enjoyment, but quite frankly, the location and weather would mean little if it weren't for the efforts of Victoria and her team. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Victoria's little black book of suppliers removed all the stress from arranging the DJ, florist, photographer, makeup artist, caterers, and the rest. The kitchen was kept stocked with their wonderful selection of wines ... La Blanquette was a particular favourite of our group. The gites are clean and comfortable. The surroundings are impeccably maintained. And even the freshly ground coffee was incredible. And of course, Nelson and Miles. Victoria's loyal canine companions who followed her everywhere. Beautiful, gentle dogs that all of our guests fell in love with. The only bad thing about the venue is that I sometimes find myself planning a divorce so that I can plan another wedding here. But perhaps I'll settle for heading back here some day to celebrate an anniversary, or two. Victoria and team, you rock. Thank you for an amazing three days. I truly hope I'll see you again.
