The aircon/heating unit not working for room 231,the weather was cold.

The manager went out of her way to help me, when i has a query

Check in process was painful. The walls were dirty. The toilet was broken.There was an incident with a fighting couple on the first floor - the floor I was on. The altercation between the couple lasted for over an hour. I walked down to the reception to complain. The receptionist did not know what process to follow. It took him some time to locate the security guard (no available radio communication or cellphone communication between receptionist and security). Security was located. I asked him if he should not call back up. he was rude to me and asked me what do I expect him to do. he was not equipped to diffuse the situation, did not have a radio to call for backup and was not wearing a name batch AND did not know what procedures to follow. He got aggressive when I asked him about what his plan is - watch the CCTV

Bedroom is fine to the expected standards. Just very disappointed with the breakfast and staff at the restaurant. There is no variety at breakfast, just scrambled eggs stacked like bricks. Need to really improve on breakfast and also train your staff on customer service and always taking note of Guests leaving and making sure next Guest doesnt have to clean and tidy their own table.

The room was extremely dirty, the Linen and carpet smelled bad. It is definitely not value for money. The furniture is old and scrap. I could not sleep… the smell of the room was just terrible. Those carpets must be taken out.. huh trauma!!

Clean bedding, theLodge is located near shopping mall and restaurants. It is also accessible, public transport rank is nearby, but their carpet had strong sickening odour. They also placed a used soap for us in the bathroom.
