Booked at short notice. I stayed in room 9, which had a double and single bed. The sheets were clean and the bed comfortable. That's the only positive. The place was filthy, the sort of place where you wipe your feet on the way out! The bathroom reeked of urine. The curtains were ripped and stained. In the hallway, there were two areas where the ceiling and fallen in and the carpets were dirty and littered with crumbs. Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend.

Worse hotel ever, room nothing like shown on the website, 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for the 2 of us, mismatched furniture in the room, temperature control knob for radiator broken off and on the floor, only stayed 1 of the 2 nights booked! That was enough!

Rooms absolutely disgusting, stench from the hallways to the rooms, fresh and soaked in blood on every sheet possible along with deep stains in the bed cover itself. Floors not cleaned, toilet not cleaned, staff absolutely horrendous, bed bugs, broken and flooded toilet, given every opportunity to give me a room habitable by a human, had to stay in my car instead. Hotel is clearly used as a halfway house also with full timers, the entire place made me feel sick. Avoid at all costs!

My room absolutely reeked of musty dampness mixed with old bleach. Toilet was gross (see pic) My door lock was hanging off my door and inoperable. (See pic) My colleague’s shower tray was broken, sharp edges and an attempted repair the like of which I have never seen. (See pic) We chose not to stay and the front of house staff didn’t even try to assist, they just processed the refund/cancellation in a very resigned and well practiced manner. I have never seen a hotel like this, would not recommend to anyone.

Just avoid. Rooms dingy and not nice, didn’t feel very clean, staff are worse than useless!! It was really difficult to get a straight answer about even simple things and when we had issues it time loads of following up! Book elsewhere - better off at Travelodge!

Booked this hotel in order to attend an event and pick my son up from school in the morning. I didn't stay: asked for a refund and (I think...) got it. The place made me feel physically sick: filthy, disgusting and full of very unsavoury people. I felt sorry for the workers who were well meaning but clearly had no clue what they were doing. The place should be completely stripped and reworked (if not demolished). It is astonishing that it is viable as a business; is it a front for something? There is an adjoining restaurant with different ownership in which breakfast is not served until 10:00 a.m. Booking agencies should really cease marketing this place, which should be surveyed and closed down. Utterly shocking.

Absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE. Avoid at all costs, it legit better to sleep outside. Upon entering firstly you’re greeted by the smell of urine mixed with fabuloso cleaner. Keys are sticky and attached to a plastic markers, with your ‘room’ number etched in crayon. The rooms, my Lord are a sight. Sheets look like they have not been washed since opening; looks like blood, maybe dirt. It’s hard to be sure. Friendly creatures join you for the view of the bathroom 🙃. Don’t even bother going to reception and voicing your disdain for the absolute filth they expect people to sleep in. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum will tell you they just took the hotel over from the last managers and haven’t checked all the rooms,BUT they want to give it to their customers. Joke. I’ve requested for my refund and just as sticky as the floor, so are the palms of these greedy people. I’m STILL waiting for my funds!!!! Please save yourself some trouble and go to the Travelodge down the road.

On arrival were shown the room up a flight of stairs sat on the bed it moved the mattress far too soft wallpaper curling up at edges, asked for another room the ceiling very badly repaired windows very poor we could not get a refund but too unhappy to stay so we left felt could not stay as on booking did not have a problem but then I have a problem with my knee making it hard to walk the resturant and bar were not open did not find out till a few days before and there were no restaurants or cafe close by and impossible to walk any where the rooms were very tired and not fit for rental

Worst hotel I’ve ever been in. Smallest bathroom I’ve ever been in. Stayed two nights came back early evening on day two only to find no room service had been hence no clean towels, bed not done, no bath mat and pillows so thin where are the supposed fluffy ones. Fire alarm went off on night one at 1am apparently set off by someone smoking in the room. Stayed in room 14.
