Extended Stay America Suites - Austin - Round Rock - South

Cons: Room at this extended needs maintenence work. The hallway smells moldy, like the carpet needs replacement not just cleaning. The recliner in the room was broke and the back was cracked. Video on television was breakin up. Pros: AC is good, bed was comfy, staff was nice.

Not the best. The room was old and smelled like pee. All the appliances are rotting away even the refrigerator.

Was worried at first because of bad reviews. But my stay ended up being pretty good. The staff was friendly, especially Charmaine. I was worried because i read bad reviews mentioning her, but she was an absolute delight, we had playful banter as i walked through the lobby, and she was to be super helpful and a hard worker. She even made sure I had a muffin for breakfast 😋 When i first showed up the plays seemed sketchy, because people were partying pretty loud in their rooms. I was worried i wouldnt get any sleep, but as soon as i got inside my room I couldnt hear the other guests. The hallways did reek of ****, but i couldn't smell it once i was in my room. It did smell a little like old wet laundry, but some lysol took care of that. I also had a little issue with my key working on the door. But once again Charmaine was more than happy to help us fix the issue. The room was pretty clean, i even checked the bed for bugs or stains, and didnt find any. I accidentally left out food over night and never saw 1 bug. The place was overall clean, friendly, and a great stay for the price. I would definitely come back.

Doesn't Honor Reservations, Charges Anyway I made a reservation. When i got there, the hotel told me rooms were sold out. This place doesn't honor reservations, it's walk ins first come first serve. My card was still charged for the stay though.

Waited for over 15 minutes for staff to come to desk so I could check in. I will say that she was very friendly when she did get there though. Room had distinct smell that reminded me of a nursing home. Fridge had rust all over the outside and looked dated and not the cleanest, which matched the rest of the room, if I'm being honest. Property was reasonably quiet, and safe. Stay wasn't really bad, but with other available options, I wouldn't plan to return either.

Good work hotel. The price cannot be beat. Two interior lights did not work and the shower did not get warm. Depends on the time for the shower. Look, for the price this is the 3rd time I have booked. If you are price sensative. Book it.
