Step into a charming jewel of Rotorua history and a really warm welcome in one of the most exciting corners of the country, where nature is intimately linked to the Maori heritage. Our historic home, only 2 minutes drive, or 10 minutes on foot from the city centre, was built by one of Rotorua's forefathers, in 1905. Under the auspices of the Historic Places Trust it has been painstakingly renovated, retaining its colonial charm. Relax in its warm comfortable atmosphere, or take time out on the verandah and enjoy our old English cottage garden resplendent with colour and fragrance, citrus trees and grape vines. Your friendly host John is more than happy to help you discover all the natural beauty of the region such as the spectacular geothermal sites, and all the various sightseeing attractions. A Robertson House, nous sommes accueillis comme à la maison ! Un havre de paix dans une ville bouillonnante. Proche de tout, un accueil chaleureux et en toute simplicité dans cette maison de 4 chambres, avec un petit déjeuner continental en musique. Notre chambre, la Blue bedroom" était spacieuse et confortable. Stationnement devant la maison. Nous recommandons !

Wir waren 3 Nächte hier im Green Room und sind sehr enttäuscht worden. Die Begrüßung war sehr neutral, danach haben wir von den Betreibern nicht mehr viel gesehen. Das Badezimmer befindet sich in einer Art Veranda wo es kein Fenster zum öffnen gibt. Die Toilette und das Waschbecken waren verschmutzt und am 1. Morgen begrüßte uns eine große Kakerlake. Auf unsere Bemerkung dazu meinte der Betreiber, Rotorua hat ein Kakerlaken Problem . Im Zimmer gibt es keinen Schrank und auch keinen Wandhaken . Das Zimmer liegt nach Süden und es gibt weder einen Ventilator noch eine Klimaanlage und im Bad sind bei 20 Grad Außentemperatur und Sonne, 35 Grad. Das Frühstück ist ok. Auch wenn es das älteste Haus der Stadt ist kann man mehr daraus machen. Wenn man die Bewertungen auf den diversen Plattformen liest müssen alle in einem anderen Haus gewohnt haben.
