Rebecca on reception was an absolute star if every Hotel had a Rebecca they would never have a problem. She was very professional, very charming and very customer aware as well as operating in the Hotels interest. People like Rebecca are rare in the holiday business here is a young lady who is a massive asset to the Hotel

Second time at this hotel and it was just as good as the first. All the facilities you would want. Hotel is super clean especially the pool. The main restaurant always had a good selection of foods to choose from, pool bar was great for a quick snack and unlimited ice cream. We had a lovely meal in the Italian restaurant, which is a nice experience with waiter service. The staff were lovely and attentive. They had listened to our requests regarding the room. Brilliant experience and definitely recommend.

We have just returned as a family of 2 adults and a 3 and 5 year old. All in all we had a brilliant holiday, I would recommend this hotel and I would return. A quick summary Food was great. Plenty of choice. I’d recommend the pool bar over the main restaurant for much. The Asian was brilliant, we didn’t really enjoy the Italian. Drinks of a good standard. Staff throughout were lovely - very helpful when my little boy was poorly. Pools are great, something for everyone. It’s true about people putting towels on sun-beds at 8am! Entertainment was hit and miss but not as bad as some have made out. Face painting was a nice touch. Despite other reviews we had no issues with noise. Room was standard size, cleaned daily, minibar restocked etc. I liked the location, it was quite but enough going outside the hotel if you fancied venturing out, we visited the local market with was good - about €10 each way in a taxi! Airport was tiny, but really smooth process. As above, I would return to this hotel.

Just returned from another visit to this fantastic hotel set on a wonderful beachfront location, overlooking the promenade. From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted by the most friendly, helpful and efficient staff who go above and beyond to make your holiday memorable (Rebeca & Luis were especially helpful this visit). But the warmth does not end there; each and every member of staff we have encountered at Protur Roquetas (reception, restaurants, pool bar, lobby bar, animation team, spa, housekeeping, maintenance etc.) work tirelessly to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Nothing is too much trouble if you ask. Rooms are air-conditioned, spacious and spotlessly clean with a balcony, free safe and well-stocked daily selection of soft drinks and water. Special mention to restaurant staff (Javier, Osse & team) who always greet you on arrival with the biggest smile, and ensure you have an enjoyable dining experience. Quality and variety of food is fantastic, freshly cooked and plenty of choice for all. Chef Jonathan always welcoming and runs through choices with you. The addition of the a-la-carte dining options in the Asian and Italian restaurants are a nice touch from the hotel. The pool and garden areas are spotlessly cleaned daily and sunbeds/parasols are plentiful at any time of day. We especially like the lazy river and pool hydro massage beds, a perfect way to relax and unwind. The Spa offers great range of treatments and would highly recommend the body massage (before you get sunburnt!). Varied entertainment programme for all the family throughout the day and evening (advertised on the screen by the library). Highly recommend morning yoga/stretching with the lovely Avi as a perfect and fun start to your day (and she will teach you some Spanish!). Outdoor mini disco is followed by entertainment every evening. Also have a pianist in lobby bar on some evenings which is nice to relax to. You will search far to find a more relaxing and welcoming hotel. Huge thank you to you all of the staff for another wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning.

Really lovely experience from start to finish. We are on our last day today so I will write this now when it’s all fresh in my mind. Transfer was 40 minutes from airport. Check in was fast, simple and well explained when we arrived. We had a pool view room and found it clean and adequate for our needs, yes slightly on the smaller side but only because the “lounge” area was made into two single beds for us, but we only used the room for sleeping so no need for any more space really. Food is tasty and plentiful. We had breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant but utilised the pool bar for lunch which was fast and really tasty. Wait and bar staff in all areas were friendly and attentive. Animation team: having seen some negative reviews surrounding this I want to say that we found the animation team really friendly and I personally feel like they have the perfect balance between trying to get you involved in the activities and leaving you in peace. Some hotels you feel pestered but not here, they invited you to join and made you feel welcome if you wanted to partake but otherwise would leave you in peace. The kids club was brilliant too, lots of activities, my 6 year old loved it and went twice a day every day we were there. They were all brilliant but please pass on my special thanks to Maria who we had a brilliant time pistol shooting with and Ana who my 6 year old loved! Also I believe the gentleman’s name was Sebastian(?) sorry if I got that wrong but he was full of energy and super friend too but like I said, all the team members that we encountered were great! Sunbeds: yes, if you want to be sat right next to the pool then you are getting up early to reserve a spot. However there are PLENTY of sunbeds and plenty of room and the grassy areas to set up camp for the day so if you don’t like the idea of getting up early and getting down to the pool then do not let this put you off as you will have space. Hotel is really clean and tidy at all times and cleaners seem to work hard throughout the day to try and maintain this. Yes the pool bar toilets can sometimes look a little untidy but at the height of summer with that many wet people in and out I think they would be hard pushed to keep them sparkling all day. If you want a relaxing week in the sun for some beautiful family time then I highly recommend. Thank you!

Started off good but only until night time. Was given a room that overlooks hotel next to it and that ruined the whole experience as there were loud music every night there till 23:30 and it makes a difference when you are there with 5 year old... apart from that on the same side there is little driveway for our hotel and again every night at 00:30 there is a lorry reversing with warning beeping... Asian restaurant really did not taste Asian at all, very disappointing. Normal everyday kitchen was much better, not tried the italian yet but while not being able to sleep again might as well write this review. Due to the design of the hotel the rest of hotel sections 3 out of 4 at least probably had some nice sleep. When it comes to the area, there nothing here... shops handfull of the same things in each one, the aquarium is literally 10 minut in and out experience in middle of nowhere (15 minute walk feels like hours in the heat) pro tip... uber don't operate here so be prepared beforehand. Positives Nice and clean Staff is friendly
