Hotel Best Roquetas

Emailed a week prior to arrival to request a room on a high floor. Checked in on the 14 September 2024 for a three week stay and was allocated apartment 532 which was absolutely perfect with a wonderful view of the sea. Gracias. Nice touch to have some complimentary drinks in the fridge. Lovely sized apartment and balcony. The beds are big and comfortable with good wardrobe space containing a safe, which is free to use. The daily cleaning was to a very high standard. We were bed & breakfast and were really pleased with everything that was available each morning so something for everyone. My wife loved the indoor swimming pool & jacuzzi and often joined in with the aqua aerobics. There was also a lovely outdoor pool with jacuzzis and a slide and always sun beds available, whatever time of day you seek the sun. There are some great activies at the hotel such as darts, crazy golf, karaoke etc plus evening entertainment.This was our first time to Roquetas De Mar and Almeria and the coast is huge some 22 kilometres long. There is a great variety of restaurants and bars with a very flat clean promenade and beach stretching some 6.5 kilometres from Playa Serena to Playa Las Salinas. You can catch the local bus just outside the hotel to Roquetas De Mar and Almeria. If we had one gripe it would be that the table & chairs on the balcony were too small, but noticed other balconies had different tables and chairs. Overall a great first holiday in Roquetas De Mar and certainly not our last. Thanks to all at Best Roquetas….. We will definitely be back. Perfecto.

Nice large top room with bedroom and living room area. Large balcony with side sea view. The maids were in daily to clean and tidy. We were on half board and the food was always well presented and a good choice. The reception staff and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.

Flat dead pillows that are not comfy . The only things maids do is remake ur beds. Food is not good and most the time was under/overcooked. And was mainly seafood. Broken skirting boards. Random clump of hair. Stains on the floor. Dirty pool floor and the hot tub was cold. The inside pool was full with screaming kids and so was the inside pool.

Went all inclusive. Food was the same everyday, lots of fish I have a 2 Yr old that is milk intolerant and all he had was sausages, chips and chicken and fruit which is not the hotels fault however they did point out which was suitable for him. It is very spanish based and the majority of people there are spanish. All entertainment is in spanish even kids disco which started at 9pm and finished at 10pm and my little one was flagging by that time. Sunbeds was easy to get by pool, we went out at 9am every morning and easily got by pool. Night time is very busy on sea front, we paid extra for sea view but very noisy at 12am onwards especially Friday and Saturday nights. Very nice hotel and very nice staff. I personally wouldn't go there again as being all inclusive I'd like some English. Can't fault the hotel at all. Just not my scene as it being all spanosh orientate

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Busy pool area but there is a much quieter sun terrace if you want. Towels & sheets changed regularly. We didn't go to evening entertainment so can't comment but the entertainment staff were all friendly & welcoming Food is buffet style with a different theme each evening. I have coeliac disease and the chef was amazing making sure I enjoyed my gluten free meals. Even cooking my chips separately to avoid cross contamination and telling me what was not suitable for me at each meal.

the rooms are clean and the beds are good. furniture old but ok. had everything included and decent food, but far too long queues for the meat. Queues moved very slowly as there were few employees frying. the wait for a fried egg was terrible. one day I arrived at 9:15 and waited in line for 40 minutes for a fried egg. the snack bar by the pool -all included- is good. too small swimming pool compared to the number of a hotel when there are many people. you can get a towel for 10 euros and then get a refund when you show a receipt. two women from our group did not get a receipt and then one towel was stolen. employees wanted a receipt that they had not received. and said that everyone got a receipt. they did not believe us. so they never got the towels back. the rest of us got this receipt but not those. make sure you get a receipt and don't lose it. otherwise a very nice hotel and I can definitely stay there again, except not with all inclusive. evening entertainment every night and a mini disco for children but played very loudly
