What a lovely hotel! The staff was very nice and friendly at all times and helped us with anything we needed. Our room was beautiful and was the last in the corridor, very peaceful, absolutely no noise from the traffic outside. Location of the hotel is excellent! A short walk to (for example) Colosseum or Trevi fountain. Because of the central location it was easy to come and rest for a bit during the day and then go back to sightseeing or shopping. The only negative thing to say is that the marble steps leading to the 2nd floor, where the hotel is located, might be slippery. Be carefuI! I slipped once on my way down and now have a huge bruise on my butt. Luckily it wasn't either one of my 60+ or 70+ year-old travel buddies who fell! Heard some cheerful noise from another room on a couple evenings and the water pipes seemed to make some noise every time someone else flushed their toilet. Did not really bother us. All in all, a super hotel and the next time I go to Rome, I will stay here!

We stayed for 2 nights. I wanted to stay at via nazionale cause I've been a couple of times before at Rome. So the hotel is situated in a central place, with a few coffee shops, mc Donald'sand theatres, 7-8 minutes walking distance from roma termini and 10 minutes from Trevi fountain and all the "must to see" when in Rome. We had the "Giulio Cesare" room so we had a small balcony a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. We arrived before the check in, as we had a really early flight,and fortunately the room was ready. Staff always helpfull. Really recommended!

Just look at the photo on Tripadvisor and then look at the dump if a room my friend and I were given. Its dark, dingy, and difficult to access with one tiny, painfully slow lift. Its just too depressing. Not how I want to remember Rome, but hey. Need I say more?

My wife and I stayed for a 4-night long weekend. After an initial problem (our room was over booked for the first night - we had to stay in an 'older' room), we were very pleased with the standard of the refurbished room. The Reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast, although basic, was adequate. The housekeeping staff kept the room spotless. The hotel is situated a 10 to 15 stroll from many interesting locations. On our departure, the City Tax was waived because of the over booking problem (thank you). Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel as a xmas present for our mum. They contacted me and offered an upgrade. We gladly accepted as an upgrade is always nice. Not this time. When we arrived the upgrade was in another building and was a building site. We could not leave the building as the keys for the front door didnt work. It was an apartment block. After we argued we had not been told the upgrade was in a seperate building and we did not feel safe they gave us our room in the hotel. But we had to spend one nite in the hell hole as the hotel was full.. We arrived at 22:20 and they told us we owed them 20 euro because check in was finished at 21:30. But when we went to the main building where reception was the sign said check in until 22:30. Terrible place avoid. Do not accept their “upgrades” I have never experienced anything like the place and not in a gud way!!

We had a lovely time and liked our high ceiling bedroom, the cleanliness and the staff member we met Location walking distance to sights e.g. Spanish steps and to shopping streets. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby which were recommended to us upon arriving at the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and recommended a few places to visit, gave us a map and marked those places and recommended some routes. The room was clean and had a balcony. €182 per night is a ridiculous price for this hotel, it's not worth it and I do not recommend. I made a booking with an option to pay at the accommodation. I needed to provide my credit card details to verify it with a possible small amount to be paid before checking-in. The booking was confirmed and 2 days later I see that the hotel is trying to charge €526 from my credit card, that's almost the amount of what I was going to pay at the accommodation. It's misleading and unacceptable to list the property with an option to pay at the property! Our room was on the 6th floor and the elevator was only going to 5th floor, so we had to continue by stairs to get to our room. The walls seemed to be thin and we have heard many sounds in the night/early morning. The windows also seemed to be thin because we were hearing many sounds trough the night as, police, ambulance or fire trucks. Apparently there is a fire departement nearby. If you book with a breakfast included you will need to go to a different location for the breakfast. The word luxury in the name doesn't describe the hotel properly, the hotel is just poor.

We were confirmed at a nearby hotel, but through a long process ended up here. Very small room, no working air conditioning and a pile of animal feces between the sheet and the bed cover. Attempts to resolve this situation went unmet as there is no check in area or front desk.

Prenotato camera presso sedicente Esposizione Palace Hotel di via Nazionale a Roma per settimana lavorativa al Ministero della Salute attraverso Booking. Presentato come hotel 4 stelle costo circa 140 euro a notte. All'arrivo reception molto molto modesta con persona egiziana? Pakistana? che mi chiede immediato pagamento. Subito dopo vengo trascinata attraverso viuzze laterali molto poco rassicuranti in un condominio fatiscente dove mi danno una sorta di lugubre appartamentino isolato e senza alcun servizio inserito in un condominio molto sporco e scrostato. Il giorno successivo entro e trovo nella mia doccia un uomo a cui era stato dato lo stesso appartamento. Ricordo che avevo prenotato una stanza in un albergo.Scopro che nello stesso stabile , al piano superiore esiste un'altra reception con lo stesso nome di lieve migliore aspetto ma sempre gestita da egiziani pakistani che , alla mia richiesta di aiuto, dichiarano di essere un altro albergo, anche se con lo stesso nome. Risultato: dopo una battaglia interminabile e il rischio di dormire per strada , mi faccio spostare in altro albergo a 2 stelle, ma pagando l'intera cifra di circa 700 euro originale. Importante: su booking recensioni eccellenti. Booking mi ha lasciata del tutto sola.
