You are right the Dei Mellini Hotel is near Piazza Cavour, across the Tiber River, walking distance to Vatican, Castel St. Angelo, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Piazza Del Popolo, Pantheon, Augustus Mausoleum, Ara Pacis, Trevi Fontain and a lot more. The rooms and bathrooms are large and nicely furnished. Also on the sixth floor is a huge outdoor common area with tables, chairs and lounges for some sun bathing. Also, if you want a barbecue, the hotel will set it all up for you. The hotel has a nice breakfast area and the breakfast is great with everything from scrambled eggs to fruit, yogurt, toast, muffins, croissants etc. The bar area is active...bartenders are friendly and fun. The hotel has an agreement with a limo service to get you to the airport. It’s a fixed price of 80 Euro.
