Rooms were small. This is a NO Frills hotel, but the location is good.

Une réservation faite par erreur pour le soir même et aucun moyen de se faire rembourser, malgré ma demande immédiate et des explications techniques fondées..je trouve cela abusif. Le directeur était sensé m'appeler pour des explications, j'attends toujours.

很老舊了，勝在位置太好，古城隨意步行。門口就一個公車站，是真的門口，5米距離。有好幾趟車車到特米尼車站。

Świetne miejsce, wszędzie dojdziesz pieszo, czysty pokój, miła i pomocna obsługa . Gorąco polecam !

!!!RACISM!!! During our stay in the hotel no one informed us that we will have to pay climate tax and that caused very uncomfortable situation at our check-out. After giving back the keys the hotel receptionist (who also introduced himself as hotel owner - Danilo M.) told us that we have to pay 12€ with cash only. We had only card to pay with so we wanted to go to ATM. The owner immediately judged us like we were thieves and and commanded to leave ours belongings and documents. We refuse and said that he doesn't have to worry and we will be back in a few minutes. It made him pissed off and ran out at us with his fists while screaming. I decided to stay inside the hotel while my boyfried went to ATM. As soon as he went out, the owner said to himself, quote: "Me*da polacco va*anculo" and some other words which I didn't understand. I am sure that this is unacceptable behavior by anyone, and certainly the owner of the hotel. Beside that unpleasant experience - room was very dusty so if you are allergy sufferer avoid this hotel. There were also no duvet, just old stinky blankets. Everytime you leave the hotel you have to leave the keys at the reception and there is no hotel door sign "do not disturb" so they enter your room while you are outside (they cleaned our room altough we didn't ask for it and we had all of our stuff pulled out of suitcases). !!!DO NOT COME TO THIS RACIST HOTEL!!!

Fantastic experience:great service and amazing people. A very special thank you to Valentina and Rebecca . They made us feel like family members : they advised us how to best enjoy our time in Rome and how to use the public transportation. The hotel is located in the heart of Rome near Colosseum and Fori Romani and at 5 minutes walking to Fontana di Trevi. The hotel offers a variety of services:a map of Rome as soon as we arrived in the hotel, a very generous breakfast up to 10 am, very useful toiletries (hairdryer included), daily room cleaned and tided up, an elevator to reach the hotel located on the third floor , booking the cab every time we needed from and to the airport or to Rome station. We will come back to this hotel when we will visit Rome again. In the meantime thank you again and merry Christmas to you all .

My mom and I stayed here for one night only after staying at Hotel Giardino (which is in the same building and just around the corner). The experience did not compare. Out of 8 hotels we stayed at in England, France and Italy, this was our least favorite. It was noisy and the group of people staying there were loud and were an odd mix. The staff attempted to be nice but mostly watched tv and talked on the phone. Our room was right on Nationale as well as next to the breakfast room so there was no chance of us sleeping in past 7:15. Also, air conditioning was not included and it was too noisy to sleep with the windows open. We paid less and had a much better experience at Hotel Giardino!!

I must agree with the previous reviewer. This is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. The manager, who is also the owner, is one of the vilest people I have ever met. Our visit to Rome was completely ruined by the stay at this hotel. If you are a seasoned traveller and have experienced unpleasant stays in hotels then the experiences you have had will in NO way prepare you for the experience of staying here. If you want to give your hard earned cash to someone who should in no way work in a service industry then by all means stay here but if you would rather support others who do or at least pretend to like customers then avoid the Hotel Firoi at all costs.

Three of us stayed in a triple room in Oct of 2004. The location was very good and the room was attractive and clean. The A.M.frontdesk person did not speak very good english, he was not helpful at all. We needed a phone number to reserve a room in Venice and he could not help. I finally went all the way to the train station to find a tourist office and I brought him back the number, used up several hours of our short time in Rome. Then he said he had the phone number! Not very bright! I asked for lightbulbs because half were out in our room, never got them. Very annoying at night not to be able to use the bedside lamp and was difficult to apply makeup in the room mirror with the dim light!
