Marco Polo Hotel Rome

I booked to this hotel but when I arrived the hotel, I was informed to change to other hotel, therefore, I have no comments on this hotel.

一個晚上2500多，房間不足10平，最多0.9米的床，沒被子。空調一開，像開火車。房間除了衞生間的紙，再無其他。酒店又小又吵，兩個晚上整夜吵鬧，睡眠不足4小時！ 沒遇到更差的。

地理位置方便，但環境真心一般，可能意大利本來很多酒店都不太好，好的價格又太貴了。

First of all, you got our name wrong while replying to my father’s review - it’s Srikrishna, not Hare Krishna. Secondly, as hospitality staff, it’s your duty to treat your guests with basic respect. Your claim that no other Asian guests have complained is untrue. I saw you talk to another Asian guest complaining about the air conditioning with a simple “That is not my job” during my time at the hotel. Anyone can check out a wide series of horrible ratings for your hotel and most of them are Asian people. However, the only thing worse than their experience at your hotel are your ******* and petty retorts to them which are solely aimed at aggravating the issue and not towards finding a solution. I am sure you will do the same to this review. Your hotel is in dire need of repair. The rooms are creepy and mouldy. My parents were left in a room with absolutely no circulation for two nights. You very rudely responded with some pathetic explanation stating that public places aren’t allowed to switch on AC which we later found was untrue as well. The room had no kettle or tea bags - when asked we were given an unclean kettle which smelled horrible. We found insects in the bathroom which was completely unsanitary. It is very clear that you deem certain guests worthy of attention and ignore the needs of others. Don’t pretend otherwise. Don’t try to pin your lack of hospitality on us being bad guests. First off, i have to say that to get to this hotel you had to walk through what could be described as a run down squalid area, then when we were checking in we were met by one of the workers, this particular worker was very rude when we got locked out of our room and we asked him if we could have a spare key, his reply was “i could but you wont learn your lesson”, i found this to be very intimidating, and i felt nervous beyond that point, and wary of asking any staff for any assistance. On to the room, it was a very dated room, and the bed was very uncomfortable, the quilt could be described as a table cloth, and i really regret not taking my own bedding. The bathroom was an utter disgrace, as the toilet seat was cracked, and was partially sellotaped together, this left me skeptical about using the toilet, which resulted in me becoming constipated. There was a public toilet, in the corridor which was no better, as when i went in there it turned out to be a janitors closet with a toilet connected to it. The only plus side of this hovel was its location, most things were within walking distance, there is a restaurant next door and local convenience shops, yet I would rather take an uber than stay here again!
