BDB Luxury Rooms San Pietro

The room was clean and very comfortable, the check-in was easy, everything from bathrooms to balconies was well taken care of. The location was perfect for us and quiet for Rome. Most impressive was the responsive staff— they were friendly and helpful. Perfect stay!

Room was clean and nicely decorated but the website said it was near the termini train station, and it was a metro and bus ride and walk away, north of the Vatican. There was no communication ahead of the reservation about any specific access instructions but when we finally arrived (@6:30pm) there was no one answering the doorbell. Two angels, young women staying there happened to arrive and helped us contact the ‘host’. You needed what’s app, and internet and then you could get a code to open a lock box to get the keys (3) that the young ladies showed us which key went to which door. We never saw anyone from the rental. When the room was cleaned they did not replace the bath towel (which were great) so I needed to use two hand towels to dry. The hooks that appeared to be for hanging towels were two feet above my head. There was no breakfast. The coffee maker was fine but the second day there were no cups so I needed to use my water bottle cap. Luckily it was a small espresso. It was located in a neighborhood of apartments so it was not near restaurants or shops.

Tutto perfetto.. pulizia gentilezza della host. Niente di diverso di un hotel. La signora ha tenuto pure i bagagli dipo il check out. Tornerei quando riandrò a roma. Il check in si fa automaticamente quindi in tutti gli orari. Posizione facile per arrivare al centro.

Premetto che questo viaggio è stato fatto per motivi di salute. Il giorno di arrivo, via email avviso che arriveremo verso le 9:30/10. All’arrivo la stanza non è pronta in quanto ancora occupata, ma vabbè può capitare. Essendo un viaggio non di svago, abbiamo scelto questo posto per la comodità di avere l’angolo cottura.. L’angolo cottura non è altro che due fornelli ad induzione all’interno di un piccolo spazio creato a muro e coperto da una porta scorrevole.. non è possibile prepararci niente… anche perché a disposizione non si trovano padelle o pentole, solo qualche piatto, anche macchiato. La sera, stanchi dal viaggio cerchiamo disperatamente l’asciugacapelli, dopo averlo trovato ci rendiamo conto che i fili erano sporgenti e attaccandolo alla presa ha fatto una scintilla e non si è mai acceso. I giorni seguenti, la coppia di amici che era con me è andata in giro per Roma mentre io sono rimasta in camera in quanto stavo poco bene e sono stata rimproverata dalla ragazza delle pulizie perché “la camera deve essere libera alle 11 ogni giorno in quanto lei deve pulirla”. Morale della favola ha pulito le stanze con me dentro, il giorno seguente abbiamo rifiutato la pulizia. L’unica persona che si è vista durante il soggiorno è stata appunto la ragazza delle pulizie e nessun altro. Esperienza super negativa, non lo consiglio a nessuno.
