Flaminio Village Bungalow Park

It was a pretty okay place to stay with a good sized pool. Was really raises the scores are the wonderful janitor George! The amount of service we received from him was beyond amazing. Get that man a raise!! He is wonderful! Also a plus that it is close to a supermarket

We arrived at around 23:30 on day of arrival (early October). Greeted by a friendly chap. Check in process smooth but a fair walk down to the bungalow we were housed in. Upon arrival,everything seemed ok. Good sized room and bathroom pleasant. Woke up after our second night at around 06:00 bitten to death, to my horror, which we discovered after our fourth night the room was housing bed bugs. We had friends staying in a different bungalow, they also had bed bugs. 3 out of 4 adults were bitten! I will attach pictures as proof. Pool bar area was ok, although staff weren’t the most helpful. The on site pizzeria was good, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Reception staff also hit and miss, some friendly others not so much. Safe to say I definitely won’t be staying here again! Also, beware of the taxi drivers in rome. They like to rip you off. Charged €90 for a taxi from Ciampino, which on the return journey was €50. Train around 10/15 minute walk but beware of the highway, used as a race track by most drivers!

To start with, when we booked we had booked for a bungalow with a patio, which is not what we were given when we arrived. The bungalow had no patio, the surrounding areas were covered in weeds and cigarette butts. Inside the bungalow the curtains were half hanging off the curtain rail, the wallpaper in the corners of the room had peeled off and hadn’t been repaired. The toilet seat in the bathroom was stained and had chips out of it around the rim. We then had to go to reception to show them the photos that they had posted on our booking and explain our disappointing with the accommodation we had been given v’s the photos of accommodation advertised that we had paid for. They stated that the photos on the listing were from a different part of the park than we had been allocated. We then explained that these were the photos on our booking so we expected to be staying in this area as this is what was advertised to us when we selected our room choice. Thankfully they agreed to move us to this area of the park however we had to wait an extra hour for this accommodation to be ready and cleaned, meaning we didn’t get into the new bungalow until after 6pm. There were no apologies given to us by any of the staff for the inconvenience this caused us or for them placing us in the wrong accommodation to begin with. Once we were able to get access to the new bungalow things were a bit better however the photos that they posted are still quite different to the actual accommodation which is quite dated and needs some TLC, but we now had a patio as we had been promised so we were happier about that, until we discovered that one of the two patio chairs we had been given was broken so one of us had to sit on the wall to be able to eat at the table on the patio, this wasn’t great. In addition to this the plugs at the side of the bed were broken so we weren’t able to plug our chargers in as the socket wiggled about when you tried to do this so we only had one working socket available to use in our two person bungalow, which was located on the other side of the bungalow from the bed. Aswell as this the listing states that there is WiFi available throughout the whole park however from my experience of trying to connect on my phone, my partners phone and our iPad, the WiFi is only available in certain areas of the park and seems to drop as soon as you go into your accommodation. I would not recommend Flaminio Village to others and will not be staying here again.

Ho soggiornato per 6 notti con amiche e scelsi questo posto perché era vicino alla caserma. Mai più! In una settimana che siamo rimasti lì, mai ci hanno cambiato le lenzuola e per gli asciugamani sono dovuta andare io in reception a chiedere di cambiarli, cosa fuori dal normale. Per non parlare poi del fatto che non abbiano nemmeno il servizio navetta e che si sono giustificati col fatto che sono in bassa stagione (la nostra stanza distava 1 km dalla reception e il giorno di arrivo e di partenza, dopo averlo richiesto, nessuno ci aiutò con i bagagli). La signora alla reception inventò pure che la tassa di soggiorno non era possibile pagarla con la carta di credito, follia…signora molto sgarbata e scortese!

Buonasera sono stato in questo campeggio per visitare roma …il campeggio in sé è ben tenuto ma essendo gennaio faceva un freddo …bagni molto belli e ben tenuti ma… riscaldati tenere le porte chiuse …ok poi ci sono 2 vasista che nn si chiudono e rimangono spalancati … altra nota dolente lavare i piatti all addiaccio completamente all aperto sotto il gelo… con acqua che viene calda dopo mezz ora e per finire piazzola piccola data a noi con casetta a fianco e 2 cariole abbandonate!!!e in ultimo nei bellissimi bagni dei bambini appendini e phon inesistenti !!! Cercate di migliorare perché il campeggio ne vale la pena !!!

Pulizia pessima, bagni sporchi, polvere ovunque, sotto il letto addirittura vi erano 4 dita di polvere, lenzuola macchiate, formiche nei bagni, angolo cottura sporchissimo. Condizioni delle due abitazioni scelte, pessime, nonostante una delle due fosse “nuova”. Nessuna comunicazione fra le persone che lavorano al loro interno. La ditta di pulizie ci ha addirittura chiesto di andarcene prima del nostro orario di check-out, in maniera aggressiva, perché la reception non ha comunicato il nostro orario di check-out posticipato a quest’ultimo. Evitatelo.
