I recently emailed the hotel and asked if they did Schengen Visa requirements, which is basically you just pay for the room ahead of time and they send you a receipt. Renata (assuming the owner) said they did and charged my card a deposit. I tried for a week to contact them after the room was booked, asking for them to fully book the room. They refuse to answer, hence I had to book elsewhere in order to satisfy the visa requirements. However - they kept the $130 deposit. In essence, they stated they would charge me for the room and give me receipt. It is obvious from our conversations that they understood the requirements, but if they charge only a deposit and then ignore me - they get to keep the deposit and it forces the guest to book elsewhere, and they get to rebook the room to someone else. They are dishonest and willing to scam guests. Keep this in mind if thinking of book with this hotel.
