Bon Ton Suite

Terrible and SHOCKING experience at Bon Ton Suite. On the first night after using the toilet, I turned the handle to leave and it would not open. It was evidently broken to begin with and there was absolutely no way of unlocking the door from the inside. I was stuck in the small bathroom, shouting for help out of the window to surrounding appartments for almost an hour, but no one heard. Thankfully my friend then arrived back to the room and was able to let me out from the outside. I was panicked because I had no idea how long I would be locked in and it was very claustrophobic. This is a HUGE health and safety hazard. Imagine if someone had been travelling alone, they would have been there until someone eventually came to find them. When I reported this to the receptionist in the morning (there was no reception at night), he showed no customer service skills. He was dismissive and disbelieving of what happened, and annoyed that we didn't report this immediately after it happened the night before. After a lot of back and forth, the hotel eventually gave us 20% off of only one night. We were also highly disturbed by this note pinned to the door. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but I did not sleep peacefully after seeing this..... (see image)

Stayed here during Easter and was as described. Quite basic, but had everything we needed, hairdryer, mini fridge, shower, wardrobe etc. Location was about a 30min walk from the main attractions but this is what we expected and there were plenty of nice restaurants within a 10min walk of the hotel. The only thing I would say is that make sure you have the codes to enter the building before you arrive. We booked through Love Holidays and because of this didn’t receive an email telling us how to access the building from the owners, so contact Bon Ton Suites before you go! The bed was not very comfy but after asking for extra blankets all was ok. Would recommend for a budget stay in Rome.

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti, che dire le camere sono pulite e confortevoli, comode ai mezzi di trasporto e vicinissime alla stazione. Consiglierei ai titolari di mettere a disposizione degli ospiti una seconda scelta di cuscini e delle soluzioni di terzo letto più all'altezza. Per il resto però tutto secondo aspettative.

Le 5 stelle ovviamente in rapporto al prezzo pagato, la struttura va benissimo come appoggio a Roma, vicino alla stazione ed ai servizi, la stanza spaziosa e pulita (in due stavamo comodissimi), silenziosa, letto e guanciali molto comodi. Un grandissimo plus la cordialità e disponibilità del personale. Se dovessi tornare a Roma sicuramente ci tornerei.
